I don’t know what worked for me ..... I was not having my period,then I strictly cut junk food and did this yoga in night time (did 30min workout) and one PCOS yoga ... I got my period today ... I really pray for everyone struggling with period takecare of your body ... eat healthy

I really enjoy doing this Yoga routine. Your voice, the music and the pace at which you hold the pose and then switch is all so comforting , calming and smooth. The yoga poses are not that difficult either. There are so many other yoga for pcos videos out there on youtube now but i always gravitate to this one. Thank you so, soo much for doing this! I used to hate yoga completely because my anxiety issues keep me restless all the time. I can't stay as calm as yoga requires one to. However, when I started your sequence, for the first time I didn't feel forced to be calm. You keep saying "I invite you to close your eyes if that feels comfortable to you" and I want you to know that that's made all the difference for me! I felt respected and cared for in that instance itself (I know it might seem silly but I really isn't for me). I am highly grateful for this. I feel great every single time after doing this sequence. Thank you so much! ❤️ P. S. That last goodbye wave with a smile is the cherry on top.

I have been trying to concieve for over 7 months now and with covid i still have yet to see a specialist or gyno. I read about yoga helping with PCOS so did a search and found your videos. I have been getting my period but they have been super light and sporadic. Hoping i can see amazing results like everyone else.

Even though that research study has a small sample size and hasn’t yet been replicated, it makes a lot of sense that relaxation + gentle exercise would help with stress hormones and insulin resistance. My hope is that more attention will be given to this area of study so that people can find more pleasant and holistic treatments for PCOS.

Hi! Thank you for this video. I've been doing this for a week or so (off on some days) and I finally have my period. I would just like to ask when would be the best phase in a cycle to do this? I will try to follow your 4 part series for the whole cycle and see if it helps my cycle become normal but I would still like to do this since I believe it helped me.

You're welcome, Pamela! Good question. For this one, there's no set phase. Just be mindful of your own experience and the clues and cues from your own body. If certain poses don't feel comfortable during different phases, tailor them to how you're feeling. Hope that helps!

Hi Omi! I'm happy you found me/ this video. There's currently no known cure for PCOS but there is plenty people with PCOS can do to improve their symptoms with nutrition. Hi Kanza. Thanks for your comment. There aren't any poses in this sequence that are dangerous to do during menstruation. But there are some that some people will find less comfortable to do. For that reason, I always recommend paying close attention to how you feel in each pose. If something doesn't feel good, then change it or come out of it and rest. Everybody is so different. It really does require that we turn to our own bodies for guidance. Hope that helps!

Hi Ramitha! You certainly can! In the research, people practice for three months before their symptoms are reassessed but many people start feeling better much sooner than that.

Good question, Em. You can do this sequence anytime of day that works for your schedule. If you find you feel sleepy after doing it, it might make sense to do it before bed. I personally don't love doing yoga immediately after eating. It upsets my stomach, but everyone is different. In general, waiting a couple of hours after eating can be more comfortable. Let your body decide. Hope that helps!

Hey, are all these 1-30 days supposed to be followed according to the menstrual cycle? As in the day it starts or ends or is it a countdown-like? Also, is this a continuous process? Going back to Day 1 every month in terms of the cycle?

HI there! Good question. No, they weren't intended to be done according to the menstrual cycle. Simply a way for people (especially people with no yoga experience) to get familiarized with each pose that would be included in the final video. You can do it in whichever way you like. There are no rules! Hope that helps.

I love this question. Thank you for asking. The results were seen after 12 weeks of consistent practice. To my knowledge, the researchers didn't follow up after the intervention was over. In general, with things like lifestyle changes and lifestyle based medicine, especially for chronic conditions, in order to see continued improvement, it's best to continue with those practices. Remember, yoga isn't a cure. A cure is something you can do once or for a set period of time that wipes out the concern or condition. But there isn't a cure for PCOS. Things can certainly take more time than 20 days. And yoga is only one piece of the puzzle. I will always encourage people to work with their healthcare team to address their menstrual health concerns from all angles. I hope you find the missing pieces to help you improve your menstrual cycle regularity.

Hello ! Sorry last question . My doctor recommended these poses everyday Suryanamaskar • Bhujangasana • Salabhasana • Badha konasana • Dhanurasana • Supta vajrasana • Sirsasana • Sarvangasana • Matsyasana But I’m not really sure what they are , I’m pretty new to yoga for pcos

This particular video includes all of the other poses from the previous day so you could just follow along to this. I also was having irregular periods , doc put me on ocp then it was regular. Since I am planning I stopped ocp 3 months ago. After stopping two months t was regular now am missing my periods.

Hi there! As long as your cleared to do physical activity and have an interest in yoga, you can get started with this video as soon as you'd like. How often is up to you. It is generally ok to do yoga during your period. You might have to tailor the poses if any of them don't feel comfortable.

Even as someone who didn't follow through all thirty days, it wasn't extremely challenging for me. That being said, I'll do it this time. I was just diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 26 alongside thyroid and PCOS. I was a mess and I've been trying to get back my life with all its energy and beauty! I decided to pick up where I left off and your KZbin is the answer. I don't know if you'll see this comment but if you do, can you also do a video on yoga for diabetes? Hi there. I recommend doing it as often as feels good and supportive to you. If doing it daily works for your schedule and your body, then enjoy. Otherwise, there's no pressure to do it everyday. In terms of when, it can be done anytime during your cycle. Just be aware that some poses might be more or less comfortable depending on where you are in your cycle. Listen to your body and adjust accordingly. Hope that helps!

Im 16 and got pcos coz over stressing myself with studies and being over weight for over many years And it's so worse to hear my dad say "No man would marry u if don't get pregnant after marriage" Ik this ain't the age to think about this but I'm really hurt by those words and to add cherry on the top my periods doesn't come even after taking ayurvedic medicines for 1 month and before that I was following homeopathic medicines for nearly 3 months, It's been 4 months since I've got my period and I've been taking medicines and been working out What can I do :( The only good thing happened is I lost 5 kgs in this 4 months

@@prachisharma7516 I understand weight gain can be distressing for many people with PCOS for a number of reasons. I really can't say if this will cause your body to get smaller. That's not the intention I created it for so I can't say. If you're not at your unique natural weight and yoga addresses the underlying cause, your weight might change. There are too many things that impact weight (most outside of our control) to say for certain. 😊

hi i completed this for the 4th day today. im 19 years im 5'5 and weigh 45 kgs. i was detected with pcos 2 years back that time my doctors suggested weight loss as i was 65 kgs. i started working out and lost weight. i was doing fine but since may 2020 i havent got my periods. i dont understand why. its been a year i wasnt worrying earlier because im eating clean and exercising . what could be the reason? i havent had any meds ever and after weightloss my periods are gone.
