Great points thank you. I do intermittent fasting regularly and cannot fit in 3 or 4 small meals so sometimes I have to eat a huge plate of vegetables along with my protein to make up the calories. My tummy bloats and it becomes very uncomfortable for many hours. I sleep better when I finish my dinner by 6 or 7 latest. I must figure out to get 1200 calories within 3 meals. Now I know why my tummy bloats when I have a huge plate of salad! Thank you.

If you have gut issues, raw salads are not recommended till your gut health gets better.

Hi I suffer from mild IBS as well and it’s such a nuisance. One day broccoli is fine but another day it causes bloating. I even avoid onions and spinach etc. cabbage in sauerkraut suits so I can have that regularly. But cooked vegetables are definitely better. Indian vegetables suit me better but can’t find them regularly. Best of luck

I'm a chronic patient of acidity and frequently suffer with acid reflux, burning in my stomach, mild pain and bloating. Though I eat my meals early in the evening between 6 to 7.30 and we take very simple food. Still it's not helping me. What I need to do more than that, pls let me know.

If you eat raw food since childhood gut issues won't arise in the first place. However once we get habituated to cooked food we create gut problems and switching over to raw food makes matters worse. God gave everything raw. The only cooking which can be termed healthy is sun cooked food or food exposed to sunlight.

Hello mam, great video, thanks. I am on my weightloss journey, if i take 5 small meals a day, will that disturb my insulin levels? Will that affect my weightloss? Now i take 2 meals a day. Please advise

Two meals a day is ok as long as you are not overeating those 2 meals. Overeating any meal leads to a big sugar and insulin spike, be it 2 meals or 5 meals.

Eat enough variety, thats all you need to do. Cooking is important since it makes food more digestible and the nutrients in them easily absorbable.

There are nutritionists who recommend protein powders that have stevia... What's your opinion on that ? A lot of times it's not possible to complete your daily protein requirement from food; especially if you are a vegetarian..

Unflavored protein powders are better since they have no sweeteners added to them.

So can’t we have salad at all in our lunch with simple salt n sugar ? I am completely oki .. TW till date to eat salads with a variety of veggies and lentils like chickpeas , sprouted green gram n peanuts etc n so is my kiddo n hubby too as long as he balances them by excluding other gastric foods like potato , cauliflower etc in that particular meal

Hello madam, can you plz share some detox drinks to take in the mrng. It must help detox full body everyday. (Some suggest ashgourd & coconut water , but that doesnt suit me i quickly catch cold when taken daily) Thank you in advance.

Sorry, but there is nothing called detox drinks. Just eat balanced home cooked food with adequate daily fiber intake, and that's all you need to detox.
