One thing that has improved my workflow lately has been going to Preferences=>General=>Editing=Right Mouse Button=>Opens Tool Menu. It allows me to change tools while editing midi way faster than having to go up to the drop down menu and choose another tool.

About changing the divisions, you can make it even easier by adding a keyboard short cut. I have the quotation mark mapped to going down a division and the forward slash mapped to going forward a division. great video though, didn't know about the patch merging

+Ofej Edafeadhe hey bro that’s dope! Thanks man I didn’t know you could do that! Yeah would be so much quicker

also if you use the brush tool and change the quantize value you can just draw triplets in with a drag
@micahdean56797 жыл бұрын
what do you click when ur grabbing the midi note at around 3:20 ? ur like dragging but it’s copying also? great video btw
@stefanguy7 жыл бұрын
:) thanks man! If you hold down the option key (alt) when clicking then you can make copies!

hi stephan, thanks for your videos, you do a great job here. at the beginning of this video you click twice on the aut. button. at first click it expands a bit at the second it goes in kind of a big zoomed view size. where can i activate that function? i knew from working with previous logic versions that is possible, but can't find it in logic X anymore :) . would be glad if you could give me a hint. thanx

Does anyone have any experience with using a Digidesign/Avid Digi 003 Rack Interface with Logic Pro X? I have the chance to pick one up but I want to make sure it will work seamlessly with Logic Pro and Studio One. Those are th only programs I use. I have ableton but I have never used it for anything. Studio One and Logic are plenty enough for me.
