Two things that helped me are: 1.point your thumb where you want the cards to go and 2. Don’t bend the deck too much, a slight bend to create a little bit of pressure will work just fine and will also make it easier to control.

I’m impressed with your clarity and simplicity. I have started learning to shuffle from scratch 30 days ago. I finished an accelerated course in basic magics and I was FRUSTRATED with some flourished like this one, thinking I would not be able to even spring 10-15 cards in months to come. I watched other videos and until I saw yours I was not springing anything!!! With this video I saw cards flying properly sometimes. THANK YOU!

Not just easier, it also looks better. There are some good regular cards that can get close to it tho.

ELmaggo10 It is easier when you are first learning I have found. once you've got the basic motion down paper cards are easier, in my opinion. And yes, plastic cards do look more visually appealing.

Keep doing more flourishes that need the cards to be bent. Dribble etc. This will make the cards soft and make it easier to spring.

Thanks for the tutorial , see I tell to those people who says that it fell down or mess down , see to do it first we have to fight with our falling fair , then only u will get cause it is not food that some one will put in ur mouth and u will eat , u have to eat it ur self so just practice , I did it with 100% plastic cards, I saw 2 tutorial of this and it was one of those who helped me , now I can master this move !!!
