6 Mo Old German Shepard Severe Mouthing/Biting Rehab

Zeus was fearful, anxious and hyperactive. He didn't know what to do with himself so he would mouth (bite without force) his owners and small children. It was very severe. So much so that his owners put peanut butter on their hands and arms when they were handling him so he would lick them and not bite them. At only 6 months old, his quality of life was decreasing due to his increasing time in his crate. It was the only place his owners felt they were safe and he was safe. His owners had a lot to learn as well as Zeus. They have become the strong leaders that he needs to manage his life. His rehab was very successful and he is now fully included in family life. This is his story.
