@@piyaanand8928 «The portion does not matter [...] eat the right amount» ??? So portions do matter. If you eat 50g chips, or 3 avocados, it will be the avocados that make you fat, not the chips. If the only thing you want to achive is getting or stay thin it is pure mathe, put less kcal in then you burn and it will work.

I eat gluten free because I'm intolerant of gluten... (or actually allergic to wheat so I still have to read the label).. Why do people think that gluten free has anything to do with weight loss? Anyway, it's so expensive so I only eat soft bread for treats now. I used to have it as my primary sourse of food. :p But a good thing with my allergy is I learnt to read labels.. Why do they put wheat in sallad dressing anyway? Sugar in peanut butter? Etc..

I recently wanted to buy some (surprisingly expensive) vegetable chips, which is when I realized that it was almost the same amount of calories per 100g as potato chips, the latter of which is considered unhealthy and a no-no on diets. It was quite a revelation.

Joanna, firstly, I love your videos; they are short, packed with relevant information and easy to understand. You made a video about food combining in which you spoke about non-starchy vegetables and leafy greens containing their own enzymes, and so they can be combined in meals in a variety of ways. Could you make a video that involves food combining and fermentation? I am wondering if the principles of food combining will change based on foods that contain their own enzymes due to fermentation.

I've already seen this video but I do find it good to go back and watch your old videos as a reminder. I'm so glad a person like me has never been into drinking Gatorade or energy drinks. Energy drinks I find them to be pure garbage with absolutley no nutritional value. I have a boyfriend who has a sister who loves consuming Gatorade first thing when she wakes up and trust me she is no high performing athlete more like a high performing couch potato. But keep up the good work Joanna I'm loving both your exercise videos and your informative nutritional videos.

What you say may be right, but I will still opt for fat free or low fat foods and sweeteners. I am mindfull of what I eat and how much I eat. Yes sometimes I crave for sugar, but thats normal. But sweeteners dont make me want more. In fact, when I really want sugar, i got for sugar. Chocolates, as examples. But i still use sweeteners on my bakings and coffee. I dont see any problem having fat free yogurt. I still eat meat, eggs and fish which have good fats as well. Its all about balance and being mindfull of what you eat.

Disha Mondal oh wow that’s amazing I would love to do that for a long period of time. I don’t think there is anything wrong with intermittent fasting all year as long as your consuming your daily calories and nutrients and keeping yourself hydrated properly afterwards. Hope my opinion counts 😉
