Omg it’s not a Wiccan holiday!!! It’s an Irish pagan festival.

Thank you ❤️ I love the sabbats. I actually really connect with the origins and like to celebrate as close to our ancestors as possible. This is a good option for folks who want to be more modern.

I’m just now learning the specifics to this all, but my heart already knew to do a little of the things you spoke about and I had no idea it was a holiday! Yesterday I gave gifts of apples of gratitude to the river as I sent prayers for peace love and safety to all. I’ve been imbibing with dairy this past week, and I NEVER use dairy! I took a bath with my healing crystals and white candle in honor of my ancestors. My ancestors are from Wales, and it’s like they were guiding me in celebration behind the scenes. I cried realizing that my heart already knew what to do and how to do it, even through my brain didn’t have the facts behind it all ❤ may you all be blessed during this beautiful time.

This was beautiful and full of such peaceful energy! I made Brigid’s Crosses this year and I also do Brat Bride (Brigid’s Mantle) which is a strip of fabric or ribbon that you place outside on Imbolc night and Brigid blesses it as she passes by. I use it to impart healing for anyone who needs it throughout the year! It’s especially good to lay over your forehead for headaches. Blessed Imbolc!

I love your videos! I generally start my day on Imbolc with a "backpacker's breakfast" of vanilla yogurt with fresh blackberries & granola with pumpkin or sunflower seeds stirred in. For dinner, I usually make something spicy with cayenne pepper since one of Brigid's symbols is fire & her voodoo loa version (Maman Brigette) is fond of spicy peppers. Because Brigid in all her incarnations (goddess, saint & loa) is associated with women & healing, I always make a donation to a charity that benefits women's health issues. I think this is one of the easiest way to honor her.

I'm at a place in my life in which I have sort of gone back to the ancient ways. This is the time of year for pruning fruit trees - on top of that, there's also all the dead fall being collected from brush and twigs that would not be useful for wood heating. So ... I'm having a bonfire for Imbolc.

I did a small ten minute sunrise meditation before getting ready for work and left a candle burning as I went through my morning routine. I dressed in the colors of Imbolc and carried crystals with me that represents the season.

We have been celebrating a little bit each day as it has been working best for us. We made lemon and poppyseed scones. Tomorrow we will be making lemon and poppy seed pancakes for breakfast. I purchased new candles to burn for Imbolc. I redid my altar as well.

This year imbolc and ט”ו בשבט (Tu BiShvat is a Jewish holiday occurring on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Shevat. It is also called Rosh HaShanah La'Ilanot, literally "New Year of the Trees") is about the same time and dates. I am gonna celebrate gardening and the plant kingdom and honor the earth and soil, it is interesting how seasonal celebrations can connect.

You really are a gifted person when it comes to spirituality. It snowed here again. My friend and I are planning a trip to the garden center for seed packets and plants. I do have figurines of land, air and sea animals. I am more conscious about the food and drink on my table. My friend is an activist for environmental issues.

Thank you for your video. I’m working on trying to reconnect with the craft and the Devine as well as myself at core, this video helps as I don’t have the time nor energy to delve into deep Sabbat research before Imbolc, but I can take some of these suggestions and honor the Sabbat and Bridget and the flame of the sun ☀️.

Thank you for your beautiful videos always a joy to see and listen to! I as well focus around milk and I make soaps and bath soaks and food including these things :) Because practicing in modern times can be difficult I find myself this year not having the opportunity to celebrate on February 1st or 2nd. I have decided to celebrate on and around the new moon in February as I feel this coincides with the idea of starting a new which is kind of what imbolc is all about. This way I can feel more at ease and relaxed celebrating the Sabbat and it still rings true to me.
