Thank you for watching! 😊 I’m really pleased with the shampoo & conditioner. Now that I’ve had 4 washes already, I truly enjoy the conditioner. When I add tiny bit more to my individual sections, it almost foams up like shampoo while detangling. 😍 And the brush glides through like butter.

I am the opposite in that I want more lift at my roots because I like volume. My roots tend to be flat. Also, I suspect this is a property of your hair but how do you achieve the beautiful curl separation without shingling? My hair clumps a lot.

Thank you! ♥️ I can’t say for sure to be honest. But I truly believe it comes from the smoothing motion and the product to water ratio in my hair. I’ve been practicing the smoothing motion since my sec big chop in 2015. I think smoothing helps with clumping your natural curls compared to shingling or raking. I find that raking and shingling creates a slightly different curl pattern since you have control on how big you want the individual clumped sections. But it also creates uniform clumped sections. Smoothing just clumps what genetically wants to form cluster of strands together. I can do a detailed video on it for better visuals. 😊
