Trying to wrap one’s mind around the fact that this is a ten year old child performing this song is near incomprehensible. Ten year old Angelina’s interpretation of the lyrics is that of a seasoned audult vocalist. IMO, that only goes to show that Angelina has an advanced intellect and the maturity level to go with it.

A song she demoed for originally uploaded in 2016 at 10 years old and taken down shortly after. No one really knows why, a lot of rumors but not a thing has ever been confirmed. It was discovered and uploaded again in Nov. 2018 and the writer put up his version in Dec. 2018, a month later. He claims to have never heard Angelina's recording but she did it first, so basically he covered his own song. To see how talented Angelina is and how a true master vocalist can make or break a song, I encourage you to listen to the writer Baby Fuzz's recording. Thanks Nate

Really enjoyed your show. This song could have given her a worldwide hit song when she was 10. Maybe it was best that that didn't happen. I think that there is a danger with the trappings of fame and fortune and that makes it outside of her mission statement. She needed to play tag, skip rope, go to school, and attend dances later on.

A life changer not only for AJA, but for many of the consumers as it hits them and allows them to move forward... to get over it and move on.

Evidently this song has suicidal undertones especially at the end about putting one's head under the water and drowning and so I believe that is what deterred her and her family or her Camp if you will from releasing this song and she actually withdrew it

Actually, Angelina's version is the original, even though it was never officially released. The guy that wrote the song, Baby Fuzz aka Sterling Fox aka Brandon Lowry, didn't release his version until after Angelina's had made a second appearance on KZbin. It was leaked, then comments turned off, then taken down, then put back on KZbin and the comments were turned off a few times. Brandon Lowry said he had never heard Angelina's version until after he released his. If you look at his version, posted to KZbin Dec. 19, 2018 it has just under 24k views and 707 likes. Angelina's version that was last posted Nov. 11, 2018 and has just under 297k views and 5.2k likes should be enough to tell you which is better.

Hi Nathan there is a saying that you have to see to believe. This is certainly the case with Angelina as her delivery of this song was totally masterful and who would’ve thought it came from a 10-year-old. Your face was a picture and it was so obvious that you was thinking the same how is this possible. The first time I heard this song I was in shock and I still love listening to it now. I really think this song showcases Angelina’s voice and if she had recorded it it would surely have been very successful. I also think the ending of this song was fantastic is that two came as a shock. Thanks again for a lovely reaction

Angie's fans think that this is one of her best vocals and if it had been released would have charted well. In a nutshell, BabyfuzZ, a well-known and successful song writer wrote this with a few buddies at a songwriting camp. He shopped it around to his clients and got no takers then sent the music and lyrics out to a number of singers to make a demo. His buddies knew Angelina so sent it to her too. Ten-year-old Angelina did this rendition but BabyfuzZ denies ever hearing it and maybe the other singers did not do it. Eventually, BabyfuzZ recorded his version about a month after Angelina. It did not do well. Angelina's version somehow got released on KZbin a couple of years later but was immediately taken down. A fan kept a copy, though, and produced this video with newer images. It is not clear why Angelina did not release it but the suicide references at the end or copyright issues are suspect. Anyway, Angelina was the first to sing and record this song.

This was "leaked" a few years after the actual recording. She was 10 here. Quite incredible, right ? The only released recording of this song is by Baby Fuzz, though Angelina was the one who sang it first. Here's to hoping that she will re-record it at a later stage. The Baby Fuzz version is really bad IMO, so no need to react to it really. But you may listen to it for reference. Greetings from Norway :-)

There is no verification that this song was taken down because of the reference to suicide. That is an assumption that has been made in comments for many years, but no source for verification has ever been given. Unless Angelina or her family are prepared to tell us the reason, we shall never know.

I heard this song a few weeks after it was uploaded and have been waiting to see when people would to react to it and the fact that they do not know she was 10, upsets me. If they knew she was so young and sounded so great, it would really blow their minds. This is one of my favorite song ever. I am only talking about this version of this song. If this song was released now it would blow up the charts, if it was released five years ago, a lot of people that have been getting by the last few years would have to retire.

For all intents and purposes, this DEMO IS the "original" performance... the "Baby FuzZ original recording was performed later, possibly with Angelina approach (and the recording team) influences??? Thanks for your reacting to this masterpiece performance by the Barefoot Angel at 10 years old. One day when this song is included in the Smithsonian Music archive, people won’t believe that 10 years old girl was the one with such a majestic voice. By the way this was a fan made video with the word "LEAKED" in the opening. Some comments have indicated that Angelina has decided not to sing this song again because of the suicidal connotation in the end lyrics of the song. The original artist, Baby FuzZ, should use common sense and let her to rewrite the final lyrics; Angelina has ample proof for changing the lyrics of an iconic song and makes it as good as the original one, may be even better.

Many fans believe this was the most uniquely different presentation she has ever done, for it sounds like nothing she has ever done prior....or after for that matter. It is, I believe, something that would have topped the charts, but it was reported that her mom didn't like a mention of a drowning like suicide and didn't feel it was appropriate for her daughter to go forward with it.

Her mom didn't like a line in it (the holding down under water reference), so it was never released as a single) This song is by Brandon Lowry better known as Sterling Fox & aka Baby Fuzz & co-writers Aksel Carlson, Ronny Janssen, and Frida Amundsen. Baby fuzz did this during a music workshop back in 2016 in Norway. (No one was interested at the time) then Angie did the demo for it in 2016 & it was leaked 2 years later around Nov 2018.
