Here's an example: a priest desires sex more than an asexual who has little to no sexual attraction, a priest is just choosing to not have sex for religious reasons. We asexuals don't desire sex and we're not choosing to remain celibate. Like someone else said here, it's like an instinct. We can have sex but it doesn't change the fact we don't desire it, we just don't care. I just needed to explain the difference because I'm tired of people calling us "religious freaks who hate sex," not true. We are not trying to tell people that sex is bad, everyone has a different sexuality. We are just not wired the same way as sexual people.
@jclyntoledo3 жыл бұрын
it's actually allosexual ppl since asexual doesn't necessarily mean ppl who don't have sex, they just don't experience sexual attraction which is entirely different than sexual arousal.

I know for a fact i'm asexual because now at 23, looking back on my life the only crushes I ever had was on famous people, I like their characters they play,but not any sexual attraction just like innocent type crushes. I have had sex and it was just plain boring and I never understood it. I don't see a need to do that, I don't desire relationships like that, when I had sex I just did it to be nice to the guys, I was never into them. I wanted it to be done and over with. I take care of myself, I don't need relationships, to me that seems taboo because that's totally outside my character to date,have sex, etc. Its hard living in a sex crazed world when your like me. It annoys me when sexual people think they know me. I cant wrap my head around some people's way of thinking but i'm sure i'm weird as hell to sexual people. Some sexual maniacs might tell me i'm missing out, but what would I be missing out on when I don't desire that? I'm ok with how I am.

OK a lot of the comments are angry at the interviewers and I get it BUT when I 'came out' to my mum THIS was the video I showed her because, right or not, the women in The View ask the questions that the unthinking majority ask.
