one thing i've always wanted to do if i were to start scambaiting (if i were smart enough about email, i would've started already) is to take a detail they list about what they're looking for in their "partner" and say i can't fit their needs. "are you a business man or woman?" "i apologize, i'm neither, i think you'll need to look elsewhere". my only worry is it'd cut the conversation short too fast, but there's potential for a rich vein of confusion that might get jumped on.

it might work if you say you can only tangentally fit their needs and keep derailing the scam to mention that and other stuff that is ultimately irrelevant. something like "are you a reliable business parter i can trust?" I think the chances of a scammer dropping a "bite" from a target without at least *trying* to reel it in are quite small. The vast majority of targets just delete their messages without any response, of course, and the more people that watch AS scambaiting, the bigger the majority that will be.

I found it particularly amusing that the ATM Card scammer was charging $2600 for $35,000, although only charging $2500 for $40,000. With that pricing logic, the victim could technically just buy the 40 grand option twice and only pay $5000 for 80k rather than paying 7. Not a great mathematician that one.

The most incredible part of this is the idea that there would be a way for American soldiers to send stuff back with no customs inspection, yes I'm sure the US government would be fine with people bringing in explosives, machine guns, and opium etc.

John Belcher is probably just doing this due to the jealousy of his brother's successful burger shop.

Was about to comment something like "Ah yes, John Belcher, estranged brother of Bob Belcher." when I saw this lol

Same! I've been rewatching it over and over for the last couple of weeks, it never ceases to bring me joy and peace of mind somehow. I can't believe there's a new video I'm so excited 😭

Have you tried kitboga? He's got lots of scanbaiting content and is also a lovely person. I found him amfrom yt suggestions in these shrimo videos 😂

I love seeing how the scambaiting changes over time. But most importantly, I am still thoroughly amused by the John Barossa/Warossa saga. Something about listening to that saga makes housework easier.

I have too 😊 I also watch Kitboga. His stuff comes out pretty often; it's slightly different, because he calls scammers instead of emailing them. But it's very, very funny.

@@fieryvaleKitboga and Atomic Shrimp are by far my favorite scam baiters. Both are masters in their respective mediums!

14:08 I would prefer a paperback insurance policy over a hardcover insurance policy. At least, I can carry the paperback one anywhere I like.
