But if they are an online friend they are not a stranger so you shouldnt be worried about telling them anything you want to. Of course there is the difference of what kind of "friend" they are. one thing i've always wanted to do if i were to start scambaiting (if i were smart enough about email, i would've started already) is to take a detail they list about what they're looking for in their "partner" and say i can't fit their needs. "are you a business man or woman?" "i apologize, i'm neither, i think you'll need to look elsewhere". my only worry is it'd cut the conversation short too fast, but there's potential for a rich vein of confusion that might get jumped on.
@kirtil5177

it might work if you say you can only tangentally fit their needs and keep derailing the scam to mention that and other stuff that is ultimately irrelevant. something like "are you a reliable business parter i can trust?" I do love that you included Paul S squared in this email list. The idea that you're still being a thorn in the side of previously baited scammers by just tossing your other baits into their mailboxes is brilliant. Especially since this mass-mailing technique seems to be a good way to force scammers to close their accounts, negative job satisfaction in action.

Pedantic point: Mazar-i Sharif is a seperate city in the north of Afghanistan, approximately 530km from Kabul, and certainly not a suburb of the latter.
