I have a question; the fugue actually comes from a violin sonata (bwv 1001), and was since transcribed for the lute and organ. Where did the prelude come from? Was it also part of bwv1001 and transcribed for the organ?
@eaea2332 Жыл бұрын
The fugue, I can't put it into words, my favorite piece of all time. So pure, good character of music: like someone who give its best efforts with the purest means, this fugue give me so much empathy to its sound and idea.
@jorgeurzuaurzua40115 жыл бұрын
A serious, solemn, respectful rendering of this beautiful piece. The relationship to the second violin sonata augments the interest of the fugue. It is nothing but miraculous how JS Bach was able to obtain so many accords, contrapuncti, fugues, from basic themes. His imagination was nothing but boundless. Thanks Nederlands Bach Society fot yet another marvelous experience.
