The best hosin sause for some reason is the one that comes in a tin you get them mostly in Asia food store it more richer and thicker its what the hi end Chinese restaurant for the dinners the do use ones form tins don't think you can get in normal supermarket the just do it in bottles if love hosin try it you will taste the difference 😉 and you will use less and it still stronger than the bottle

I lived in Japan for 4 years. I learned a lot during that time. One thing I retained from those days is...somehow, chop sticks make this kind of food taste better. I don't know if they make you eat slower, or maybe just one piece at a time. Even if you are shyte at using them, somehow this is true :) This is a good recipe, thanks Rik.

I only recently encountered hoisin sauce for the first time. It came as a dip for a pack of spring rolls I picked up at the supermarket. I was instantly hooked! 😋 in the end I had to lick it all up out of the tub it was that nice haha. Lovely recipe Rikmeister! Sunday special indeed

Another mouth watering dish 😋🤤 i have a request do you know of any recipes that include bamboo shoots and snow peas, because a very long time ago my mom bought some frozen dishes that includes these two items and I was hooked because it was labeled stir fry but you had to boil the bag from a warehouse club and the other item they had was polish dogs again delicious also.

How about match stick cut zucchini (courgette) or carrot,even thinly sliced Chinese cabbage,don’t overcook,hope that helps.😊

I have the same problem, hubby can’t eat them. My grocery store carries fresh mixed stir fry veggies (carrots, broccoli, snow peas) that I’ll try with it. Baby bok choy would also be delicious with it.

If you freeze your meat then let it defrost slightly you’ll find you can slice it really thin, thinner than if it’s fresh.
