Improve your balance and reduce the risk of falls with exercises that will improve your agility and strengthen your legs and core. This workout is perfect for seniors and beginner exercisers. The exercises will train your body to handle unexpected situations and improve your movement in all directions.
My mom and I are excited to do the following exercises with you. Aim for 10 reps (on each side where applicable):
- STEP OUT AND INS - side to side
- STEP OUT AND INS - forward and back
- SIDE STEP - left and right
- SIDE STEP BALANCE - left and right
- ROCK THE BOAT - left and right
- HEEL/TOE BALANCE - left and right

They are great! I’ve been exercising to their videos for almost 2 years I think. There’s always something I can find to do. It’s helped me improve my agility and prevent falls. So important at my age!

You are correct! In just a few short weeks I am stronger, have fewer aches and pains and have much better balance thanks to the Yes2Next Videos. I wonder how beautiful my body will look in a few months? Stronger and taller every day! Six feet here we come!

Thank you! Dad enjoys your workouts, so we do them together. It’s wonderful to see your mom up there as a normal person that may not have the balance of a 20 year old so it gives dad a little more confidence and forgiveness that he doesn’t have to be perfect. Thank you from Texas!

Noticed this 2020 Balance Workout & did it. Very nice! Your exercises WORK because I could have fallen last weekend at an estate sale. My arms were full & I couldn’t see my feet. I was walking through a doorway into another room which I assumed was on the same level. It wasn’t! Stepping into thin air, I lost my balance and careened off the walls but DIDN’T FALL! I attribute that agility to Yes2Next exercises!🥰👍

Seniors do not need to settle for just getting older and losing balance, which is NOT static. Seeing Aiko demonstrate that wobbling does not mean poor balance but instead that core is building muscle memory for upright posture.. . .gives seniors the confidence to keep practicing until successfully improving balance.

Following eye surgery and attempts at getting the right glasses, balance has become even more important to me. I am so grateful for these exercises and will be returning to them often. I just discovered your videos and I really enjoy them. You and your mother are a delight. At 68 I get in a good amount of walking but decided I needed strength and balance work and your videos hit the mark. I will explore your cardio videos on those days I don't get out because of the heat. I look forward to working my way through your library.

Great job, April and Aiko. This video shows the important things as seniors, we need to do each day in order to improve our balance and reduce the risk of falls! I am following the 30-Day Beginner Workout Plan. I will admit I am a little behind the eight ball on list right now. I plan on redoing the plan by starting over on the first day of February. I love how your mom also does the exercises. It shows that us young at heart that we can do it even when someone half our age is teaching the exercises. That this is truly geared for us older children who don't the same same stamina.

Love this workout. Everyone can benefit from this. Balance is so important and not something to take for granted. I always thought I have great balance, but this video showed me I need to work on it everyday.

Thank you! Yes, practicing balance moves will help but your recent problems with falling are a concern. Have you checked with your doctor to find out if any physical issues may be causing your balance issues? Your safety is priority #1. Hope you keep moving with us and staying safe too! @@yes2next no i dont talk to my dr until sept 19th, but when i go outside alone, i will walk up and down the ramp first holding onto the railing that should help with balance too; thanks for your concern

Total life saver those exercise.. I have lot of arthritic issues , 2 knee replacements and ankle/feet and more. I decided to try and retrain my body. Starting with the stretching exercise video and then gradually adding an additional workout ( balance and feet so far ) every couple of days.. I have noticed a massive difference in my mobility in just two weeks . Many thanks to you both

I have the most difficulty with the moving balance exercises. I think it’s because I started relying only on my elliptical in the last few years, so my muscles overall are not toned and ready to support me. I’m going to rotate through all your videos, so please keep making more. Thank you!

Thanks for this video. My feet are badly affected by RA so doing these exercises I am sure will benefit me . Definitely have to keep a chair handy for last exercise but to increase the seconds holding the position will be a challenge. I’m like a wobbly jelly. 😸

Oh boy this make you think too 😆 So is it possible to be balance on one side and not as strong on the other side 😳 not big difference but some. Love to see more core work . Made my day ☀️

Yes, it is totally normal to be stronger on one side than the other. That is why doing exercises that focus on one side at a time are good -- they can focus on building strength on the weaker side. Keep up the great work! Have you tried our Standing Core video? bit.ly/y2nstdcore
