Love Steamworks in Berkeley! Tuesday night is the best, boys night. It has a DJ but honestly doesn't add anything to the club. They have STD screening most nights, no mouth wash fountain, a maze back room that's very dark, and a cat walk where people can stand on top and be serviced from below. There are vending machines with good stuff, including flip flops in case you forgot yours, a waaaaaaaaaay to hot steam room and sauna that can give you third degree burns and a jacuzzi. Staff varies from super nice to I-don't-give-a-damn, but they get the job done. Sundays can be busy and you are likely to have to wait outside for an hour in line to get in. The place is big, all on one level, but not very accessible to public transit. It's in a warehouse/residential area. Closest BART station is North Berkeley , about a 25 minute walk, and it's a pain in the ass (pun intended) to get there from San Francisco. Considering there is no bath house in San Francisco (Eros doesn't count), or San Jose (Water Garden shuttered), Steamworks is the only game in town... or suburb. On the flip side, Steamworks Berkeley is in Berkeley, home to UC Berkeley, which means UC Berkeley students frequent the place. Prices are similar to Toronto, Chicago, Vancouver, Seattle. Of note Steamworks in Puerto Rico closed some time ago and they really need to bring one to New York City, which is devoid of anything remotely bath housey. Regardless, Steamworks Berkeley, which is the original bath house in the chain, is more hit than miss and I give it four out of five eggplants. 🍆🍆🍆🍆.

I wonder if I still could enter being a Swiss Citizen with an European Covid Certificate. A cultural difference is that in Europe you don't need to buy a membership, no need to show an ID but also no private cabins to rent. Only lockers an then you choose any vacant cabin. Normally there is no Gym. Most places have a fully equipped bar instead of vending maschines. Unfortunately the bathhouse culture seems to be desapearing slowly on both sides ot the atlantic.

Nick-- some of my best memories of visiting bathhouses have been the glory holes areas, especially if they are in public spaces. The best ones are set up as Patrick described: on 2 levels, with the guys on the upper level inserting their junk through the hole, and the guys on the lower level being able to access your parts while standing (no kneeling necessary). As Patrick described, these are usually set up in glory hole rooms with numerous holes and lots of space for both participants and watchers. What he didn't say is that the dividing walls usually go up to about chest high, so both parties can look over the wall and see who they are engaging with. .😊 For various reasons, I seem to draw a crowd of watchers when I'm getting a BJ or HJ through the glory holes. Partly because I make noise when getting serviced cuz i can't keep quiet; and partly because I "put on a good show" when the explosive moment arises. I find having an "audience" to be extremely erotic..... But other guys who are shyer will only watch but never participate. (I got over my shyness years ago.) 😁😉👍🌈

I got a kick out of watching this and other bathouse videos from you Patrick. I live just north of Buffalo, NY and Toronto is a mere 50 miles away (as the crow flies) and 99 miles driving. Been a long time since I was at a bathouse, probably the mid 1980's, and one of the 2 in Buffalo area was the Club Bath Chain located in the suburb of Amherst. Very small, just a dry sauna and showers, rooms and lockers, but tons and tons of fun in the few years I attended. The other was the Morgan sauna which supposedly was one of the oldest around since the late 1800's, originally named The Bull Mastif which was not Gay, although I'm sure plenty of "hot times in the old town" occured every night. I never went there but now wish I had just to see what it was like. The city closed it down in 2002 most likely because they did not want a Gay bathouse in the midst of the urban development that had occured and did not fit with the 'upscale' aesthetic they were working toward. Keep up the good work and I'll have to peruse your other vids to see if you've ever reviewed the Rochester Spa and Body Club in Rochester, NY. Haven't been there either but.......who knows?

I've been to both the Berkeley and Seattle Steamworks. Berkeley was great, Seattle not so much. No steam or sauna in Seattle. I much prefer Club Z in Seattle.

Nice looking guys get the fun, me, I’m barely average so all i usually get is turned down…can’t say I’m mot jealous because I am, lol…I’ve not ventured to a bathhouse for this reason. I went to a gay campground and it wasn’t as pleasant as I hoped, refer to my opening statement. Keep having fun and thanks you for sharing your experiences with us that can not.

Well, if that’s you on that photo, I’d say you’re a pretty nice looking guy. But I will say this: If you think you’re unattractive and men won’t be attracted to you, it will cause you to put out an “unapproachable” vibe, and your perception will become a self-fulfilling prophesy. I know because I thought I was ugly, and fulfilled this prophecy for years. :-) Here’s a little experiment - go to any bar or wherever, and look at the couples, or who connects. Are both guys attractive to you? I found that for me, it was rarely the case. But it really doesn’t matter, because THEY find each other attractive. I remember being at a bar one night (I just MIGHT have been under the influence of some mushrooms) :-) and I found myself watching two guys. One was looking at the other. When the other looked up, the first guy immediately looked away. Then the second guy looked and when the first guy looked up, the second guy looked away. I realized how many times I had played that game myself. And maybe it was just the mood, or the shrooms, but I saw really clearly that I didn’t have to do that. I could let the other guy look away if he wanted to. And it wouldn’t hurt me at all. So I decided to walk around the bar and look at guys. Not in a creepy sort of way, just look them in the face and see what happened. Some of them smiled, some of them looked away, some of them said hi. A pretty simple thing, but for me it was kind of a revelation, because I was convinced that I was ugly. And do you know what happened? I found myself getting flirted with, all over the place. Downtown. On buses. In the grocery store. Several months later, I was talking with the bartender of a place I used to hang out. He said, “yeah, are used to think you were stuck up actually, but I realize now they you were just not confident in yourself.“ He hit the nail right on the head. Anyway, I don’t mean this to be a sermon, but really, The less we worry about other people’s perception of us, the freer we are to be ourselves, and that’s attractive. Wishing you the best.

@@sazji that's what good looking guys say to not so good looking guys. It's not about attitude. It's about genetics.
@sazji Жыл бұрын
@@Meyerc-yv2bi I won't suggest that some of us aren't more genetically fortunate than others. But I am convinced that it's only part of the story. When I look at couples in a bar, I often noticed that one half is very attractive to me and the other one, not at all. But they're attracted to each other, so who gives a fuck what I think? :-) and then there are so many guys that are perfectly nice looking who are convinced that they are ugly because they don't look like some Roman god. So while there are definitely societal standards of beauty, there are also lots of people who see things differently.

Yes, I remember going to the Unicorn Club in Chicago -- my first bathhouse when I lived in Chicago and was a young, shy, strapping youth who could go all night (and was a noisy fcuk that attracted voyeurs). I have also visited after it became Steamworks and the place got even better. Ah, memories. 😁👍🌈

Hi Patrick I'ld like to know about your only fans content. On your website you say "Material I can’t post on social media or KZbin." what does it mean exactly? are there some nude pics vidéos and delicate subjects or is it just teasing stuff? I consider subscribing since you're very descriptive in the KZbin videos. Thank you Allen

In regards to the gym. Can you workout in the nude or do you need to wear clothes or something covering your fun parts? That alone I would come to steamworks if I lived in Toronto--just for that.
@markmh8352 жыл бұрын
I believe you can work out nude, but you have to put a towel down anywhere you sit or lean against. And of course wipe down the equipment after using it.

@@markmh835 I would hope so but that is good to know. No shame. I wouldn’t imagine sex is allowed there due to safety, but if it is, that wouldn’t bother me so long as I wasn’t distracted from my workout.

Patrick your so Canadian!!😬😬 I’m originally from Chicago so I know Toronto well . Never visited that steamworks . Chicago one is ok .. i used to live in London - those are AMAZING! My favorite is the one in Liverpool street .. i find in North America way too many guys have “ racial preferences “ ..which means I’m excluded… London the diversity is on steroids ! .. Paris has a good one too called “ le depot” OMG dude .. I went to one in Milan . That was good !! Spain and Italy though.. they’re so forward with sex . I literally had offers walking down the street! It was crazy . .. and from really hot dudes.. BERLIN.. need I say more.. Antwerp, Belgium .. HOLY SHIZZLE..
