I mean I can see it from both perspectives, he wants to have a little bit of individuality instead of looking like everyone else. So I wouldn't necessarily dock him for having a Batman patch, now I would say put it on the inside of your vest because we know a lot of the inside of the vest also has Velcro. So I would compromise and be like if you have any fun patches or morale patches whatever that you would like put it on the inside of your vest. That's what I do I have a 5'11 American flag patch that's on my bag but I just got two alien gear patches this week and I put them on the inside of my vest.

Just yesterday, one of the Officers working for McSecurity (A.U) where I’m Human Resources was wearing his old high school football jersey over his uniform shirt asleep in his car. Another day at the office 😀

Apsolutely chief officers like that ain't ment to be they take the security officer license as a joke. not only to them self but to there own co workers aswell . i mean you cant give authority with out looking serious as a authority officer now a badge i. Always wear it on my duty belt with my uniform

Technically licenses are a joke. They’re just workers permits in reality. That’s why when you work certain contracts you have to do extended training in things that is not taught at a guard card class. Whereas you work regular basic guard jobs, you only need a guard card. My state, armed guard license is 16 hours. For one contract alone, I had to do over 120 hours of training in things that weren’t even mentioned or taught in the card class in order to be eligible to work the contract. That’s not counting hours for other type of contracts I’ve worked either.

To me, I believe it's unprofessional to wear a logo or patches that are not of the company I work for. Therefore, I don't think the past employee took his job seriously. To me, a Security Officer appearance, behavior conduct, and verbally is a reflection of the company he/she may work for.

Yep! I got myself removed from the state contract the other day because of the guards I was working with and other reasons. Which luckily my boss was on site to see how the clients really are. Craig and Day Day guards, worthless and useless guards! One guard particularly has a looney tunes jacket. A joke

@@mikealvarez7352 still contracted via the company. Oh they did! On multiple occasions too! People don’t want to listen and follow rules. Even as site supervisor, I did myself and they don’t listen. Literally our first day a dude was sleeping and had ear buds in. I told him if you’re falling asleep, go walk outside and walk around and we’re not supposed to have any ear pieces or phones. He got mad. So much crap that goes on that Im not putting up with it anymore between guards and the clients themselves. I caught the kids doing something the other day and I reported it. They rubbed it off and once again let the children get away with things. When my boss was done talking to a supervisor of the clients, I asked, did she really do it. He said, yes. I told him, I want off this site because it’s a joke. Alls I’ll say, those kids will only have an early grave if not prison time when they turn 18 and you have the state to thank because they do nothing and are just as useless like a good majority of the guards they have there

This class would be an ongoing weekly class, starting with the basics, moving over time and proficiency, to intermediate, and then advanced techniques. I'm planning on starting a defensive tactics training school in my area very soon. The prices will probably be $149.00 for a 10 class pass to use weekly or bi-weekly. ... If i was in your area, would you join?

Same thing with the thin blue line flag patch and others. Only patch that’s acceptable on a uniform is the US flag on shoulder but then again for uniform wise, it’s really meant to be identified as an American in other countries. I have a TECC patch but it’s on my trauma kit. Only reason I have that is god for bid something happens, first responders or active bystanders that are trained will grab it and apply it to prolong or save my life. Or in the event of an AA, god forbid, a trained active bystander can grab it to use on others while I do my job.
