High Intensity Interval Training burns a lot of calories in a short period of time. A great example is sprints with short rests in between. For more info just look up HIIT.

Every physique model or competitor has to flex their abs to show their six pack. Have you seen people like Connor Murphy? He's shredded to the bone but if he doesn't flex he looks like an average joe. (Maybe not an average joe because he's gifted but you get what I'm saying)

+Zach Foster you have to diet correctly just like Brendan said in one of his replies, you have to know that you have to drink a protein shake after you are done with your workout but since you are 13 I advise you to eat chicken, beans, eggs, meat, fish or any other healthy source of protein, just be sure you do eat protein after your workouts and I am sure you will get abs. You might not be getting abs is because after you finish your workout you might go and play video games and not eat, the thing is you need protein to build up in your muscles after your workout.

hey Brendan...I am following your videos from last month and need your suggestions on my routine and diet i decided to go for the gym only for two days in a week for weight exercises, and rest for the days i use to do 1.10 Leg lift touches 2. 20 Toe touches 3. 10 twist 4. 10 Single Leg crunches 5. 10 Double leg crunches 6. 10 cross leg lift 7. 13 siders 8 10 pulsators 9. 20 roll ups 10. 20 Heel touches 11 10 Plank crunches 12. 10 Plank twists 13. Up & Ups 14. 20 bicycles somehow i managed it for two rounds its burn like hell, it takes 30 minutes and also i stopped eating outside food mostly having vegetables, brown bread, tomato, Peanut Butter, cucumber, chicken sausages and other protein ingredients etc i just need your advice on this.... am on my way ? i am 5.10 inches 165 pounds .....please reply

ADVICE FOR ADVANCED USERS: this is a lot easier than some of Brendan's workout since he often stops to explain the next exercise to the girl (cute!). My advice is to keep a 6inch hold with straight legs every time he pauses - now it burns at the end!

Those ab workouts are really not for burning calories but for giving your body a stimulus to grow more muscle!! You probably burned about 50 to max. 150 calories depending on how disciplined you activated your muscle groups.

3 years later, don't do abs everyday unless you don't want to progress shit. Minimum 48 hours of rest, max 96 hours.
