I've been riding one of these for the past few months (~1,100 miles) and put simply, it is a fantastic bike. It's quite stiff, looks great (I even like the name), and the build quality is phenomenal. The Bigrock brand integrated bars are very nice as well. I've had a few carbon Cannondales over the years, and none of them have had a carbon layup nearly as clean as the Bigrock. The bearing seats are tight, the bb and brake mount facing are perfect. I'd say the build quality was impeccable, but it did have two issues; First, the headset cover rubbed the frame when preloaded. This was an easy fix, but is still worth mentioning. Second, the derailleur hanger/thru axle chip sandwich was a bit out of spec. I had a creaking issue that was tough to track down, but after filing ~0.5mm from the threaded thru axle chip, the issue was solved. Considering the price to quality ratio for what you're getting with the Bigrock, I really can't complain about the two imperfections though. It's funny that Joe mentioned it, but my first thought upon riding the Bigrock was that it felt almost exactly like my old Supersix... only better by nature of the large tire clearance and disc brakes. I'm running 700x32 Vittoria Corsas by the way, wouldn't go any bigger though.
@ChinaCycling3 ай бұрын
Funny that you agree about the Supersix comparison, haha. Which headset cap rubbed the frame? I'm always curioius in those situations if its the frame (paint?) too thick, or the headset cover is too big. I think more frames should provide little shims to get that gap perfect, because different colour paintjobs will have different thickness... Overall, glad you're enjoying your bike. :) How much did the finished build weigh?
@therealbolekpolivka3 ай бұрын
@@ChinaCycling Anyone who has spent time on an OG Supersix Evo should know how much of a compliment to the ride quality and handling that comparison is. Built up with Ultegra Di2 and a Quarq pm, it's right about 15lbs. Not bad for the regular mod frameset in size large! No weightweenie parts on either, other than maybe the 1,200 gram 9velo wheels (really happy with those as well). The headset cap that I had an issue with was the hidden cable cap that came with the integrated bars. I could have used spacers to solve the issue, but the cover warped slightly when torqued, so I elected to selectively remove a bit of material with a nail file instead. Overall not a big deal, or at least it wouldn't have been had I discovered the issue before installing the hoses!

nice review joe. the last review was very good too and decided to take 1 for a climbing/relax bike. Have one xxs 45 deep red frame myself from a major distributor in vietnam. i removed all the bolts, thru axles, and adapters, totally naked frame still weighs 641g total. i hope buyers don't expect 603~610g from the actual frames they will be disappointed.😂 Not an issue for me so much. After 3 months of saving i may be able to finish my bike soon hopefully before xmas and start my rides in Da Nang roads and mountains!: )) safe rides and more power to the channel.

Progressive geo+short stem for road bikes is the way to go to issue toe overlap. Fork offset also helps. And the handling would be as good with some thoughts. Spending thousands and risking to go on the floor with toe overlap is just so disrespectful for the end user.
