We live this video! My kids call those “sea drummies”!.’ Catching puffers in traps or on light tackle is a great time, especially for the younger children with a short attention span. We also brown them in a pan and sauce them in a variety of ways. It’s always a hit, even with those that aren’t big fans of fish. We love your channel. Thanks for sharing and be safe.

That's the Babylon marina via the Great South Bay. I see the Robert Moses bridge in the backdrop. That's my home port. We really need make to a video. Worked at Captree for many years. Give me a shout. I live in Florida now and we vacation every year in Ocean Beach the last 2 weeks in July. We can take a day or two and make an amazing video weather permitting (Clams - Fluke - Seabass -Trigger and plenty of Nothern Puffers). Augie's Bait and Tackle for some gear and tackle. Tell Aaron he is welcome to join :)-

It says blue crab bycatch in the title. The crabs didn’t wanna play that day. I’ve had them breaded and it covers up the delicate taste. This to me is the best way to prepare them. I think the iron chef cook offs are retired, they were fun though!
