BMW F10 530d ( N57engine ) vibration damper, belt and pulleys replacement

In this DIY video I will show you how to replace vibration damper, belt and belt pulleys for BMW f10 530d N57 engine.
As we all know the weak spot of this engine is the vibration damper!
Always keep on eye on it for any cracks in the rubber so you can take action before the break down happens!
It is also important to service the belt, all rollers (pulleys) , BMW F10 530d N57 engine has only one belt and if that brakes, your cooling pump and alternator remain undriven and there is a chance of overheating the engine!
This particular engine N57 has a vibration damper with 7 channels, it weighs apx. 5 kg and it's outer diameter is 194 mm 👇.

Thanks for the good instruction. Is it first time to loosen the crackshaft bolt? I doubt it is easy to do with handtools only.

Pospieszyłem się i upiłem Corteco, ale nie na Amazonie. Przepłaciłem. Na stronach anglojęzycznych podają z jaką siłą dokręcać koło pasowe. Dodaj do opisu, skoro film jest niemy. I nie kanały, tylko rowki na pasek.

40 Nm followed by 120 deg, put new bolts M8x65 mm

@Super Fast Driver I didn't replace my bolts as were none in crankshaft pully box corteco too will this cause me a issue.

you have to install the original OEM pulley, none of the others are out of the question, they all make noise, had the same problem

@@SuperFastDriver Oh my god my engine has the same ticking noise and it's weird because it only comes by when I do an oil change on the engine. And looking at my crankshaft pulley it's really old and it already has cracks of 6-8mm long. I am looking at buying a new one and people have recommended me to get one from BMW OEM but the £500 price is quite a lot. I was looking at a gates pulley from the 430d which is a straight swap for £150 as proven by multiple people on some forums, no idea on reliability or noise issues though. Would that one be a good idea? What do you recommend?
