Notify me when you add back the "Hoffmeister" kink, along with the dual headlight on the M2 and get back to being a company of engineers. There's a reason Porsche have a better brand - they're not ruining iconic styling cues trying to be different. The M4 CSL - what an embarrassing use of a highlighter, and not even Texaco red I'd bet my M3 on it. BMW used to be a brute in a suit, now it doesn't know what to be... remind you of anything with purple hair? Yes the car is fast, but does it have emotion or a soul? It's a difficult proposition when fake audio is pumped into the cabin, I mean why not play a Ferrari V12, something nice instead, it would be just as tacky and low rent like a fake blow off exhaust or Swarovski crystal in the cabin.

My M52B28 got a damaged piston and oil leaking (i guess head gasket). It drives since 30.000 km without an issue and almost full power. BMW 6 cylinder are really no joke

LMAO what are you talking about... 488 GTB? It did 7:00 in the hands of an amateur journalist who had the opportunity to do like 3 laps in total with it in less than ideal conditions and regular road tires. This is nowhere near as fast. It's over 20 seconds slower on semi-slick tires in ideal conditions and with a driver that did thousands of laps around tracks with this car.

@@derbigpr500 You're mixing the 488 GTB and the 488 Pista i think. Although it's true that the 488 GTB would probable put down a faster time on today's pavement and with semi-slick tyres, it's very unlikely the difference would be over 10-15s.

That was a very fast lap at Nordschleife! It was so composed that looked the driver could even push a little more! But in fact, I think it’s already the fastest BMW there to this day! As a former BMW M owner an now a Porsche 911 owner, I would love to see a BMW middle engined car like the old M1. Just imagine an I8 with that M4 CS engine (not hybrid)…I would sell my 911 immediately to buy one!🤩

Can you guys please run the M3CS again with R compound tires!!! What's crazy is that the M3CS is only 6 seconds slower, and wasn't even tested on R compound tires like this car. The fact the M3 is much better looking and can sit 5 people comfortably and has the same performance, is crazy and in my opinion the best M car and best production sedan ever made. The M4CS is nice, but why would someone want a coupe that's this big.... especially a coupe that has no advantage over the sedan in it's same class. M3CS still the GOAT,

Now imagine if it had a proper rear wing, and some fancy aero. This thing could to mega laptimes. Porsche has the 911 GT3 RS, Mercedes has the AMG GT Black Series, Ford is about to release the Mustang GTD. Maybe a BMW M4 GT-Packet version would be nice, to tackle them head on, and I know it could do damage in that front. But it's still amazing to see that without the aero the M4 CS can carry a lot of G-forces in corners and decent apex speeds in a lot of places. Really nice time!

So here on the screen you can have normal speed / RPM dials. Why? Because there more natural to read? So why not these normal ones in the car? Or the option to change them in the settings? Its digital, so not so hard to program for BMW i think. From day 1 I hate the new BMW dials.
