@@DrakesDetailing drake I had a question, what vacuum did you use for the water? Also is it better to pressure wash the leaves or can you use a vacuum and do it? I visited florida for the first time in my life and after a fishing trip I helped a friend clean a boat. And I though about maybe trying to start my own detailing boat business. So watching your videos will really help me with that. Thanks a lot. I’ll definitely be asking for more advice in the future 😂. Keep up the good work. It really helps me and your viewers as well.

Loved your video and thanks for all the tips. I have an old Arriva from Bayliner and it has lots of oxidation on the Gelcoat. I plan to revive the finish for this boat since it runs really good and I have no reason to just give it up. I've watched a few of your videos and I like all the great tips. I know I'm a novice when it comes to detailing, but I think, with some elbow grease, I get the old girl looking like her old self again. Thanks for all the great info.. 7 minutes, I like the fact that you appreciated the customer and justified that $500 was a good price because she was nice. I've been doing Professional Automotive Detailing for about a year and am moving from AZ to a place where there is tons of boats. I figured why not try to work on some boats I bet I could make some money. Also I was thinking you should vacuum the interior first that way all those leaves that are soiled don't fly around to areas that you may have already cleaned. Great content! Looking forward tot seeing more of your videos.

For rust marks and brown stain from the water line down I used to cross the US border at Sumas Washington to pick up a product called Barkeepers Friend. It’s a powder that comes in a can like Ajax’s or comet cleanser. Make a paste on your smaller brush lather it up let it soak for a few minutes use your brush or rag to wipe it off. It’s an amazing product. $5.00 up in Canada now.

Hey Drake, great videos. I have my 1st boat detail coming up and I have quick question. His boat is lightly oxidize and I was looking for a 1step process for him. I typically one step on cars with a DA and a yellow rupes pads. Do you know if the yellow pad will have a similar cut as the Lake Grey. I have a Rupes LR15. I love Jescar powerlock+ so that with a Grey pad looks to be awesome. Keep up the great work. Any other tips please send them my way

I have a bunch of black rub mark and just marks that won’t come off with scrubbing...I used starbrite stuff and then did barkeepers friend today....it DEF got the white, white but there are still just scuff marks from whatever it may be...maybe some blood marks too....would you suggest this 20% bleach\25% purple power/water solution to get those irritating marks off? What could I do wrong? Or better yet how can I do it wrong? If I wet it down and then spray it/scrub it and don’t let it dry am I good to go?

I’m a huge fan of purple power and super clean. I don’t really dilute them, because when I need them I generally need all the cleaning power I can get. You just need to be carful it does not sit in the surface too long

I use a 12 gallon shop vac for super dirty decks especially if they got tons of leaves. I also observed that you got into the boat with dirty shoes. That kind of messes up your work. I use shoe covers after every wash so I do not cross contaminate.
