Welcome to the Double Burn Series, a set of workouts that will challenge your body from every angle. You will use a double set principle where you perform 2 different intensity levels of one exercises to fully fatigue the muscle. Each workout will use various pieces of equipment as well as your body weight to increase the challenge. You will work from the hardest to the easiest level with lots of variations to keep thing interesting. Each workout is a total body workout with warm up and stretch at the end.
In Double Burn Cardio Sculpt you will start with some side lunges and skaters as well as a plank variation to warm up the body. Then move to 2 lower body groupings - wide plie squats and a tough forward leaning lunge to glute raise combo. Then 2 upper body groupings, a row to shoulder press combo and some faster boxing style moves as well as a functional shoulder move that finishes with boxing style hooks. Then move to 2 core segments - a seated oblique twist and knee raise combo and a tough upper and lower crunch exercise. Finish with a lengthening stretch.

I knew I was doing a Linda workout today but wasn't sure which so this arrived at the perfect time 😍 I can't find my resistance bands so I upped the weights in the squats and used pilates ball for core. Am loving these double burn workouts perfect mix of strength and a bit of cardio with the fast pace. Thanks Linda and love to mini 🐈‍⬛😻

Hi Linda, I couldn't resist jumping in to do this new Double Burn workout with you. It was a great workout even though I had to modify the abs section to skip using my hip flexors. I'm still healing from my injuries but making progress because I'm learning to modify exercises to accommodate my injuries. It only took me being in my 60's to learn that lesson...lol! love, Leanne

So glad you can do my workouts again! Yes, it can be a bit of a blow to the ego to have to modify. It's not worth aggravating injuries though and it gives you access to so many more workouts!
