My daughter was told by the rescue that her cat was already spayed. She called me when her cat started acting differently. I went to see her cat and the cat was in heat. Took her to the vet and got her fixed. We were told that happens frequently. I don’t think a rescue should be allowed to lie about that.

As someone else pointed out the rescue may not have known ie been told when she was surrendered that she was spayed. Depending on the time of year she was surrendered and adopted she may not have shown signs of ever being in heat Heck in this case Dr. Scott had x-rays of Bella's pelvic region from her tail operation and he didn't even know she had or had not been fixed

@@anndownsouth5070 funny enough Pippin is a long hair with super fluffy pants so its easier to check the tattoo lol. I think one of the reasons the tattoo is becoming more common at least where I live is because chemical neutering instead of surgery is becoming more prevalent for male cats. Thank goodness these vets were so thorough in accessing Paco’s eye. If they had not removed that extremely large piece of wood it would have produced a whoopping infection and possibly the loss of his eye and vision on that side. 51:13 I absolutely broke down. We had to put my baby boy to sleep just a few months ago. He had only just turned nine and he was such an incredible dog. I couldn’t bare to have him put down in a scary place, so we had a company who specializes in home euthanasia visit. The assistant suggested we have his favorite toy, Mr. Chicken, cremated with him since he never wanted to be away from it. She tucked in the toy with him under a blanket before they transported him for cremation. They treated him with so much care and respect and gave us time to be alone with him after he passed. They hand delivered his ashes along with a packet of seeds to grow a memorial garden. I miss my friend every day, but I’m happy to know his final moments were in a comfortable place with the people who loved him and continue to love him, even though he’s gone physically. Cherish every moment with your companions. If your dog friend barks, if your cat friend knocks things off tables, if your bird friend won’t stop whistling a tune that drives you crazy, if your reptile friend gives you some attitude, just know that you’ll miss it someday when they’ve passed.

I was sitting in a vet's waiting room with my cat when another client brought in her tiny kitten, named Daisy, for a checkup. A few minutes later she came out with huge eyes and told her boyfriend "she grew stuff!" They had both assumed the kitten was a girl because they really didn't know what to look for in a newborn kitten. When the vet showed them the little boy's equipment, they were stunned. I still laugh over the way she said "she grew stuff!"

I had a kitten that I rescued and thought he was a girl. Once his testicals dropped (he was very young when I got him), we found out she was a he. My daughter had named him Lucy and he would come to her when she called him Lucy, so we tried to come up with a boy name, and finally named him Lucipurr, a play on the name Lucifer and because he purred loudly. He loved his Lucy name. He was the sweetest cat I have ever had, though he was shy when new people came to my apartment and would hide under the quilt on my bed. He looked like a gopher.

It is very sad. But snakes don't bite unless they felt threatened, so it's likely Dora attacked the snake first. The snake was likely only defending itself. So these people left their dog unattended and it killed native wildlife, which in turn defended itself. Still very sad and I'm glad she recovered, but I hope this teaches the owners not to let their dog bother wildlife.

Seeing the twins Dr's Audrey and Allison, working side by side in compassion really touched my heart as, I just lost my identical, amazing twin sissy a week before Christmas. I was jus laying in bed crying & missing her sooooo much... I clicked on YT to try & get my mind on something else for a few minutes, this was the first vid in my feed. I'm praying, this a sign that the other half of me is still with me because ... I jus don't know how to be jus ME without HER. I love you sooooo much my sweet girl .. Always... And. In. All. Ways~ 👭💞🌸💞🙏👭

All are wonderful stories :). Little Dora - wow; I'd bet that it was the interaction with her owners, especially the lady, that made a huge difference, along with the toy and the smell of her family on it. Beautiful to see - very touching :).

The last one with Dora the Puggle was a roller coaster of emotions! Mostly because my mom lost her elderly puggle a couple of years ago to cancer/old age. Puggles are remarkably sweet but also able to bounce back like a rubber band at times. My mom’s puggle was always getting into the cabinets and counters for food and it wound up causing her all kinds of medical emergencies.

I am in complete awe with Roxie’s surgery as Dr. Arvid trekked on in the darkness, despite what was going on, with just a couple Cellphone lights! Talk about Courage and Diligence!! I’m just thankful Roxie made it through the anesthesia, considering her fragile senior age! It could have ended differently! Pleased to know that everyone made it out okay, with all their stories and situations!

I have to agree Dr. Arvid did a great job on how handled the surgery with the only light coming from Cellphones and with no machines to tell if Roxie's vitals were okay.

I would say I would of been able to trust him. He did an awesome job and with that baby having a chance of getting kidney failure I would want it done then. I feel like people forget for a long time that didn’t have machines for a long time to check vitals. They had their stethoscope and hands to check pulses and what not. The machine was still working until it died. As you could see, he had his nurses checking non stop the dogs heart rate, make sure it wasn’t going super low. Kuddos to him for working well under the circumstances.

Having animals around has an immeasurable impact on children. Not only do they develop a sense of kindness, they also develop a sense of responsibility to take care of them. They also learn how to control pain by holding and stroking them. They will also learn about life through death, which will come one day. As you can see, there are many positive aspects to interacting with animals, and we should definitely try to include them whenever possible.💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖

@@killereria9945 true we couldn’t get animals till later in my life because we moved a lot and didn’t want to put an animal through the stress of a ton of flights as well as the expenses. In middle school we got our dog (JJ) who is still with me at 9 yrs old approx we don’t really know she’s a rescue. Absolute love her and she was the one who found the kitten so she got us our next pet. JJ has made it so adopting is most likely going to be my method of getting another pet as I don’t really wanna add to issues of not reescuing and leaving the shelter dogs alone for a new puppy. I do plan to get dogs from foster families most of the time as it lets me know their personality
