Just in case anyone had the same question, I did my own research. It really depends on what games you're wanting to play. I'm looking to build sometime soon and both the RTX 2060 12GB and the 3050 8GB are in my budget and are available. In a game that I will be playing a lot, Destiny 2 (which is decently optimized at this point), the difference between a 6 GB RTX 2060 and a 4GB RTX 3050 is about 15 fps in favor of the 2060. Well over 100 fps at 1440p at the ultra settings. Obviously, 12GB 2060 performs even better than the 6GB version. And seeing that the RTX 3050 8 GB is going for about the same orice (at least right now) I think that would be the optimal choice for avg 1440p/excellent 1080p performance. I will not be trying to run Red Dead 2.

hey brae, just a couple questions for the $2000 system, couldn't you go for the 4000x case with 3 fans already and it would be cheaper? (due to the price of corsair fans) and what is the performance difference of the 3070 and its ti variant?

Is this $1000 setup still a great gaming build? And can you upgrade each part separately later on if i want to? Thanks for the video. Im trying to learn more about PC gaming and maybe switch to it from Xbox1 sometime soon. And will this setup be faster and more powerful than the Xbox 1 or the Series X?. I play games like Vigor and fortnite with my daughter and some multiplayer games and may stream some too so would this setup play well and keep me from lagging and getting KIA? I am not much of a PC gamer, and not very interested in building my own PC. But, am looking at music composition as a retirement hobby. So, would you guys/gals recommend the $3000 system with a GPU downgrade? Do I need to add a dedicated sound card? I have some older Midi Keyboard and Drum machine, so a Midi to USB adapter should work?

My build is a 12700k, msi 3080 12gb, 32gb of gskill ripjaws s5 5200 cl36, msi z690i unify, corsair sf750 80+ platinum, u12a cooler. But I seems like I can't get the gpu under 80c I chose to run fan speed at 75% and it dropped down to 70-72c but now it running hot again got any suggestions? Cpu is also running hotter than I would like as well. Performance is great compared to my 5 y/o 1070 laptop but I'd like to have less heat My monitor is the 27gp83b ultragear

good video. may be you can make a video using 3090 on intel and amd cpu i want to play games and edit video but i don't find a good recommendation most of it is too much money but i think it can be done but i don't want to buy part i don't need i just want to build mid tower thanks
