@@daleperez1264 I've got a 99 v6 and the only thing done to the exhaust is a flowmaster muffler from when my brother owned it, and for whatever reason it sounds amazing for a v6. It's not really loud or anything but it's a deep grow like a v8 and it pops and crackles when revved

Yes. I've given stock 2v GT's the jump and pulled them in and walked away. I've also beat and lost to bolt on 2V GT's. And I stayed side by side with a stock 3v when racing from a dig. It wasn't the quickest Stang around by any means, but I love how it sounded and looked. Plus, it was decently quick for what it was.

A friend of mine had a mustang with the 3.8 V6. You couldn't tell it wasn't a GT by the sound. Nobody ever believed it was the V6 until he popped the hood. It was pretty quick too. He beat an older mustang with the 289 by a couple of car lengths from around 60 to 110. It was definitely a fun car.

Thank you Capt. Obvious. I didn't do it to make it sound like a V8. I did it because it was what I had and it was different. This car got MUCH more attention than any bolt on GT would have. And after this I had an '89 Foxbody with a Vortech putting out 450 to the wheels, so I'm familiar with what it's like to own a quick V8 powered Stang.

Probably the Windstar first. What do you estimate my HP to be at at the moment and what do you think they'll be with the cam, heads, and Windstar?

@iamtheultimate It's a custom grind cam from Tom at SuperSixMotorsports. To do the cam install you need the cam, a new set of springs and retainers, all new gaskets for when putting the engine back together, as well as new engine fluids. All in all I think the install cost $900+ since we did the install ourselves.

Very nice. I have a 5.0 fox for summer fun. But my 3.8 works year round. Those 3.8s are very solid cars. I have even towed 600lbs of concrete with it! Sure it wouldnt go into 3rd gear but it did it. 308,XXXkms and still going strong.

@The00Mustang Thanks man! I appreciate the kind words. I still miss having this car...But if you don't mind me giving some advice, I'd say don't waste your money on the Screamin Demon Coil Pack. I had it for 2 years and it crapped out on me. And I have heard of several others saying the same thing. My advice would be to stick with an OEM coil pack. They work just fine. Use that money for a better mod.

Now thats a perfect sound. I really wanna build a 2010 to 2014 v6 mustang. I just dont think people realise how fast those are. If I did this gen i'd wanna to do a single turbo setup and put down around 500ish just because its cheap and kicks ass.

No labor here, since me and some buddies did it one weekend. The total with the cam, new valve springs, new fluids, and new gaskets was probably around $800-$900. But you also need a tune, which means buying a flash tuner and some dyno time as well. That was another $550ish on top of it all.

As much fun as that Fox was, there would still be times where I'd miss my old sixxer. Now they're both gone and I'm looking for a new project Stang. Can't decide between another Fox, preferably 4 eye, or an SN95 5.0. Desicions, decisions...

Trying to get to this point little by little. I just started modding mine but it needs a lot of work. Got the CAI, throttle body, magnaflow duel exhaust with an x pipe, getting headers next then new cats put on. After that I think I'll get the suspension Andrew bullitt rims put on then some engine work ending with body work and new paint but that won't happen for a few years.
