Great workout! I am one week away from 65 years old (how did THAT happen?) and I realize how important it is to have a fitness routine. I started a daily workout habit almost 3 years ago and only found SeniorShape a few months ago. Hi Lauren. Thanks for this quick walking with weights workout. I've been exhausted this week, carrying a 2 year old who didn't want to listen to his Mom-Mom! So he was kicking and flailing, while I carried him down the steps. He actually climbed the baby gate! It's a good thing he's adorable! I don't exactly consider myself a "senior" yet, but I did enjoy this tremendously! I used 5# weights. My upper arms are slightly sore, in a good way! and I burned 334 calories with a 150 bpm max. Thank you. This was so good!

The moves are simple enough for both but even though I’m a senior (71) I have worked out all my life and cardio and weights are not new to me but this definitely challenges me all the same. I tried this one yesterday and _loved_ it!! What could be better than getting a cardio and strength-training workout at the same time, plus a warm-up and cool-down, and all in less than 25 minutes?! I definitely plan to add this workout to my regular rotation.

Lauren, am returning to your workouts after a long summer break! Thoroughly enjoyed this workout and especially appreciated the use of the lighter weights and next time will bump it up to 5 lb. Weights. Thank you for helping us to stay fit, healthy and mobile.😊

I am sooo glad you said you were sweating, I was starting to break one too, I was like say what??? ... I be like this girl smiling so I am going to keep going. Good workout! HA smart to use 2 pounders. I be laying on the floor with a 5 lb weight on my chest If I tried to use a heavier weight.

It was really hot outside when I filmed this a few weeks ago. I purposely wore a splotchy print tank so the sweat wouldn’t show 😆😅🥵

Another fab session - thank you - definitely another one to repeat - doable but a bit challenging - perfect . ( I’m a reasonably fit 67 year old in the UK and have been doing on line exercise in addition to outdoor walking regularly since 2020) .Didn’t take your advice at the start and had to pause twice to drop down weights 😏I’ll know next time.Super clear instructions and I love the background music - just enough and not distracting- sound balance great👍 So pleased to have found you😊
