Fog vs control is the strangest fight I’ve seen. One puts so much energy into making sure their opponent can’t do anything, meanwhile the fog player doesn’t want to do anything.

That being said, as a minor criticism, I think reducing the volume of the music in intense phases would be better. It's a tad too loud und thus distractive for my taste. Another solution would to be to choose a little less hectic and more chill background music. Talking about it, I think some chill music would actually benefit your content in several ways, as your videos tend to appear a bit hectic overall - very fast plays and fast talking. A chill music would even that out a bit. Just my 2 cents though and keep up the great work!

Oh you like juicy counter chains huh? The pauper subreddit has a long history of top posts involving 12+ card stacks of blue and red elemental blasts and the like; was far more frequent back in the Kiln Fiend days... Point is, Pauper is super sweet and has many very intricate interactions. I think it's the best place to really hone your skill in getting the most out of each of your cards since it's so rare for any single card to win on it's own.

I have no idea if this type of format exists, but I'd love to see one where rarity determines how many of a card you can include in your deck. E.g. 4 each of commons, 2 each of uncommons, 1 each of rare/mythics.

@@sefisyara5961 Hearthstone limits you to 2 copies per common, rare or epic and 1 per legendary; and having a card type you can only run one copy of definitely didn't start with Hearthstone (the first CCG I played, Myths and Legends, did this all the way back in 2000, called "unique cards"). Only game that comes to mind with more than two different copies-per-card limitations is Yu Gi Oh, but limited/semi-limited cards are soft-bans rather than rarity-based.

It sounds like Carl might be interested in some pauper cards I've tried to build around before... but without a group who plays pauper I've not been able to test them. Palace Guard, Wall of Glare + Ghostly Possession, Inviolability, and Benevolent Blessing That make a backbone that can simply ignore nearly all combat oriented decks. It's also really cool that Possession can be used as a backup "pacifism" if you're in a pinch to turn off damage from an opponent's largest beater. A few copies of Nimbus wings can also make sure your blockers can deal with fliers as well (in addition to possession).
