I am of the hopeful mindset that the small press comics zeitgeist will perhaps come up with a Wiz and Iceman regular series - Wiz and Iceman they's some scary dudes for sure! They show up on the cell block or in the yard looking like they do and stepping hard and I am certain they would give Suge Knight nightmare fright terrors.

I used to represent Seth for his commercial illustration work and got to see a few of his originals. For some of them he used overlays and that's my guess for the Coober Skeber cover.

Daniel Warren Johnson’s fan comics are a blast to read! He drew one about Green Leader from Return of the Jedi. It’s one of my favorite Star Wars comics of all time.

I bought a copy of COOBER SKEEBER at SPX from Jeff Mason from Alternative Comics. BOUGHT. For $10 or something. Then we peeled the sticker away to see the FREE underneath. We went back to Jeff, complained, and got $5 back. Or something like that. Hell, it was 2002!

Also I saw that Akira show you were talking about. The former Director at that gallery was super duper nice but you could tell he could have been a little mislead. That stuff happens a lot in the art world

I had a table near Jeff Brown at a few shows (SPX, MOCCA). Really funny, really nice guy. I’m always glad to see awesome Indy artists (yourselves included) reach success.

My favourite episode so far, inspiring, educational but also bittersweet as I can’t buy half the jewels you showed. Josh Simmons Batman made me drool, would love to have these though I did manage to get Cobra 2 so it’s not all bad. Cheers

A couple things that could be interested is to look at counterfeit comics...but with the talk on mini-comics you may want to look also into the tiny comics that people like Silber Media (Brian Silber) put out with various artists including people like Dave Sim.

Great video guys. The marvel comic reprint of James Kochalka work can be found in Strange Tales #2 from 2009. www.marvel.com/comics/issue/25920/strange_tales_2009_2 This and Strange Tales II are great works and available on Marvel Unlimited. Not bootleg, but has a lot of that same energy and love. Also, there is a Brother Vodoo story in that book that I loved... Who wrote that? ;-) Also, not sure if you include webcomics but Hannah Blumenreich's Spidey-zine is just delightful. Romance take on Spidey which works REALLY, REALLY well. I think a combo pack of a romance Spidey and adventure Spidey would be a perfect one-two punch for our expanding market... but what do I know. Check it out here www.hannahblumenreich.com/spidey-zine Something that I love (that maybe is my own dorkiness) is audio drama version of comics or related material (such as pulps, sci-fi or genre). Very random and NOT COMICS -- but you realize how well some of these comics work when read aloud. Just a far-out idea. Thanks again for the entertainment.
