For any nay-sayers, definitely stick with it! There was a time when I didn’t even own a step, and would look longingly at all the step vids. When I got one for Christmas 1.5 yrs ago I was a total novice and stumbled often over my own feet, but now I can do the advanced after watching a few times. It’s amazing what you’ll achieve as long as “can’t” or “won’t” isn’t in your vocab! ❤

This was a great prep for Niagara! Just when the person said, "This is not for me! ", I wanted to yell, "No! Don’t quit now! I am fumbling too but by the end I’ll get it! You will too!" I hope she tries it again. Thanks, Chris for giving me the support to mess up but keep trying !! ❤️

Ok! I just finished this workout. I backed it up a several times to get the moves down. Thank God for technology, lol! I laughed at myself and didn't sweat, pun intended, the small stuff. I am about to repeat the video because I thought it was awesome and had so much fun. Don't give up! I AM one of those people who get frustrated with imperfection HOWEVER as I've aged, like the fine wine that I am 😜, I have given myself permission to be that flawed human being and I'm not sorry for it. I embrace myself. Chris, I really like that you leave your mistakes in. Thank you for being you and keeping things positive for all of us on here. Loved this step class. Did it this evening. So pleased as I picked it up easily. The consistency is key and I've gone from a stumbling uncoordinated fool to being able to do intermediate with ease!! X

So much fun! I try to recruit everyone I know to do step. It's my favorite. I'm getting the moves more easily and my brain has to focus on just step . Which is great because not much can get me out of my own head. You've turned me into a step fan for life. Thank you!!

I need to do this a few times to get it all down. The music + Chris make all the difference. I know I will get this after a few times. Now don't get me wrong, I am sweating buckets....this is a good thing.

So much fun! My son is home sick from school today, but he was feeling well enough to dash across my step at just the right moment! Let me tell you, that adds an extra fun layer of cognitive challenge when I also have to call "Go now!" so he can make it over my step without crashing into me. 😆 Thanks CDorner for another wonderful step workout - a family affair this time!

I want to thank you for your encouragement. I have been the person frustrated to the point of stopping a video, but I wanted my workout so I went to one of your other videos that I love and just started that to help calm me down. Now I know enough steps to muddle through and just be happy that I kept moving. Your positivity has me wanting to try more every week. Thanks so much for what you do!

Perfect flow to this routine and of course great music. Repeaters rock!! I've decided that 134ish BPMs is my sweet spot. Didn't want this one to end.

This was a fun one with good tunes! I'm in the late beginner early intermediate phase as I've been doing your videos since January. I love that if a move is difficult or might trigger an old injury (I've had 2 ACL reconstructions) I can switch it out for a move from another one of your videos that has the same count (re: L step to box step becomes L step squat Tik Tok) and I end up in the same place. Thanks for your positivity!

For those of you that are struggling with the harder moves, keep practicing! By no means do I consider myself as good as Chris, but I am getting there. A few weeks ago on a Saturday there was a really hard class, with Lisa as the guest. I literally struggled with three out of the four segments. My feet and my brain were not working together. I ended up practicing for two hours the next day, and another hour the next day, and I was able to do the routine, still made a little mistake here and there, but I was a lot better. Don’t stop trying!

HAVE MERCY! (which is what I yell as you que and "Elvis") I am now officially a member of the INT club. I yelled at you when you called out "one more on each side" at the end but then thought of the quote of the day and that kept me going THROUGH the cool down!!! Love the knee segment- the funky knee into the round the world knee and into the knee box step! This choreography was so much fun. I think you can just speed it up and make it the next fast basic/intermediate step!!! Loved it!! And keep that playlist the same!! Thanks Chris❤❤❤

I’ve been doing step on the floor, but I finally got a step yesterday (from goodwill) and this was the first workout I did with it. It was great! Chris is such a good instructor. Thank you!

Great workout! Love the music! For those struggling with the choreography, never give up . I like to say practice makes progress and once you get it, it’s like riding a bicycle. And you don’t want to miss out on the fun a workout can be. ❤

OK, so, I'm 71, and I've been spraining my ankles since I was 15, so I've gotten really good at it by now. I just want to say, (because you are always telling us to do what we can) that often when you turn your back to the camera, I can't do that without risking my ankles. So I do whatever alternative you give us! It works great! I still get my heart rate up, I still work my muscles and my balance, and I feel like I succeeded, not like I failed. I did it and didn't sprain my ankle!!! I win! Thank you for the workouts and for the encouragement! (that's not to say I couldn't do the modified knees around the world. I could do that, no problem, no sprains)

I haven't done step in about 15 years! My husband and I met at step class, 28 years ago. I lost him to cancer about 10 months ago. there was a Reebok step at the thrift store and I grabbed it thinking I'll do it myself and have happy memories. Thought I'd do a quick search to see if there were any videos and found you! I got my sweat on this morning (rusty, but I can still do a mean repeater!) and had happy memories of me and my hubs doing step together! Healing comes in so many ways. Thank you.
