I do Full body 4x a week. Sometimes 3x. Works great for me. 48 hours of recovery. Consistent damage to all muscle groups throughout the week. While also having the recovery aspect, and having days off the gym to do other things.

How long are you usually in the gym for a workout?

@@Nutzgarten probably about 70-120 minutes. Typically on the ladder end. But I’ll only do around an hourish if I feel weak & fatigued. There’s also a few at home exercises I may do amounting to about another 20ish min

I love my 3x a week full body. It gives me extra time to spend on the tennis court, plus my cortisol has decreased, my sleep is much improved, and I’m happier.

here's my full body workout ,squat,deadlift,benchpress,bent over rows,shoulder press. And mayby throw in some arm exercises.

Same. Mine is : Squat Or Deadlift, Bench, Weighted pull-ups, Overhead Press and then an isolation of choice to failure. 3x a week. Do you squat and deadlift the same day?

I love full body. I do Monday, Wednesday,Friday Db Bench press(incline) Goblet Squat Db Row Db shoulder press

Once you get really strong full body is tough. I prefer upper lower nowadays.

The problem is that most people don't know what their specific goal is they just want to get fit, you need to be super specific with numbers or goals. But even more important than that is the fact that even if your super dedicated and disciplined your only going to get to a certain point still, your human, not super human. You have to think, do I want to kill myself to look good for a little while until it becomes too much or you get a bit older and can't keep it up and have the rest of the aspects in my life suffer because of that, or do I want to feel good, still look healthy, and be able to live a balanced life doing everything I want to do without going stupid crazy on the fitness. Most people think they want to look like those in magazines until they realise how much you have to give up and how unhealthy your lifestyle becomes to look like that

61, do HIT, and do a push/pull/leg split. I'd love to do full body but doing HIT I can't get through a full body routine...I wish I could. When I get my split done, I am absolutely wiped out. Dont get me wrong, I LOVE HIT. The gains have been way better than gains I got with volume. WAYYYY better.

HIT is the way the go, I either to 5x5 with an isolation at the end, or I just take every set to failure doing HIT. And I’m 25, I used to do 100’s of reps in my teens and early 20’s with no recovery problems but now, I’m focusing on getting stronger on compound lifts and using an isolation of choice at the end of the each session.

hi, please make a video on how 1 can include deadlift in a pure muscle building hypertrophy workout. Because deadlift is very taxing on cns High rep range leads to recovery issues.

Use a 5x5 Routine like me, I either squat or deadlift for 3 sets of 5, 3x a week.

I dont believe in the terminology "week" when it comes to working out. I workout 2 days on, 2 days off consistently

I do full body twice a week. Even that's tough. You have to commit to the reverse pyramid, and not give in to the lure of just getting through the workout, because they are long.

For me, I added in electrolytes, sugar, and beet juice as part of my pre-workout, and I increased my rest time between working sets to 3 minutes. Stretches my gym time, but my wad isn’t blown until the end. Currently doing 6x/week, push/pull/legs. 5-7 exercises per workout.

I think doing 2 days is better thn 3. Just make sure you pick one compound and one isolation. Whenever i was doing 3 it worked for a bit i started seeing diminishing returns . Muscles need at least 48-72 to fully recover depending on how hard you hit them. Plus the 3 days a week i dont think you be fully recovered even on your big body parts. I do Tuesday and fridays one week next ill do Monday and friday so i rest 2-3 days in between

I am trying to gain more muscle mass. I am 45 and weigh 172 lbs. eating around 2600 calories a day is that enough? I can’t seem to gain any muscle . I lift 2 days a week and HIIT train 2-3 a week.

After watching several of their podcasts I can say that they would tell you to quit the HIIT and just focus on lifting and up your calories.

I don’t see the benefit of training full body. I can’t barely handle training 2 body parts on the same day, let alone going all out on every body part. I can’t handle a full body split and train very hard. It’s too taxing to train to failure and 100% affects my lifts through the session.

lol you aren't supposed to train to failure on a full body split. I mean yeah challenge yourself but stop a few reps before failure.

I do fullbody every time i go i have a primary muscle . For example One day it will be chest and quad focus next time back and glute hamstring focus and last one will be shoulder and arms focus the rest of the body parts i just pick one exercise 12-15 reps not betond failure
