So glad you gents enjoyed!! This duo is the real deal! Amazing sound, vocals. You got it right with the Zeppelin/Rush sound (this band is from Oshawa, just outside of Toronto, Rush's hometown - and they are both unabashedly HUGE Rush fans! I think one of the members has a Rush related tattoo) As a further foray into Crown Lands, try: Leadfoot, White Buffalo, Sun Dance (you'll get real Zep vibes here, circa Zep III), Context: Fearless Pt. 1 & The Oracle (their prog sensibilities on full display). Other musts: Spit It Out, Right Way Back. They just released a great, heavy rock cover of The Beatles Come Together. These are absolutely dynamic live! Deep dive required!

Here in Canada, Crown Lands refer to Government Land/wilderness. I suspect being part of the British Common Wealth, the term comes from the UK. It is coincidental that many of the popular bands from Canada tend to be a 3 piece. However, if it ain't a band with minimal members, why not go to the other extreme with a band with 7 or more members 😂😂. You may want to check out "Broken Social Scene" and "Arcade Fire" They were popular in 2000's. On the Tea Party upload with no audio, you two mentioned Robert Plant, which reminded me of Cody Bowles. My initial reaction when I first heard them (a year ago) was Rush and Plant as well. I don't think they have a lot of material available on YT but the song I like most "Context: Fearless Pt. I " is a song dedicated to Rush. Rush wrote 3 songs called "The Fear" series, later they added a 4th song to the series. I don't know if that's Crown Lands intent to release the songs as part of a series.

My first impressions were: 1. Great guitar lines 2. He sounds like Jeff Buckley crossed with Robert Plsnt 3. Forget the first two points, this seems like what we might’ve heard Led Zeppelin become if they’d lasted more decades. That was cool.

Guess I'm gonna be the first to say it. Big Greta Van Fleet feel in the vocals. Edit: Having delved a little further into their music, I'm feeling a strong Rush feel in the music with a little Yes thrown in for good measure. The singer's voice is somewhere in between Geddy and Plant. So freaking good.

I share your pain about getting your name right, Alan. I was fortunately married for 23 years and for all of them my father-in-law kept calling me 'Ken' instead of 'Len'. It was a not-so-subtle reference to one of my wife's previous boyfriends, whom he thought was a good bloke. When I think about it, Alan, her dad thought I was an Aussie 'Clam' (past video) and not suitable for his daughter. Turning to the Crown Lands, never heard them before ... but geez they are good. Solid music. This is why I love your channel; it expands my knowledge of music that I haven't heard before. I have so much learning in front of me, thanks for helping me. Keep the good stuff coming

They were fantastic and that voice, wow! Maybe a 2 word band name with a regal term in it means only 2 people: Royal Blood on has 2. Romans encouraged fraternization within the troops. They thought soldiers would fight more fiercely to protect a loved one. Bad breakups would be a bit dicey, though.

These two guys can rock I watched a couple of their music videos. On the one track, the guitarist had a double-neck guitar with a bass on it so he did a bass solo and then back to lead brilliantly. I also picked up a Yes vibe from them too. Very prog rock. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jYDWgIuCnt2Kpbs

Interesting performance, would not be against hearing more. Alex, I have to correct your math error, however. Rush (a trio) was 50% more than this pair of musicians is. (Lol, I can sort of hear the background voice from Pink Floyd's the Wall, "Wrong! Do it again!...")

He has been singing since the age of 5. He sings in 13 languages, plays multiple instruments. He is absolutely 💯 % one of the absolutely greatest vocalists of our times, with an octave range of 7. For your own experience you must give him a listen.
