Huh, that's a viewpoint I didn't consider before; If your product is so great, then you should be able to rent it out- That a company would be happy to just ring you up and say "I want these everywhere" and within the day they're everywhere.

Originating from construstion typically festoon lightings drawback was yards of cable and 110 volt knokdown boxes everywhere.Yes we had lamps on tripods way back.Possibly the biggest need is for plasterers skimming who need very bright lamps but the big issue with this idea is they will need charging and potentially dim very quickly.They will get knocked around and dont appear very stable .However I see the benefit if working several stories up without cable supply.

I have lived in a city for 7/8 years with constant construction around me- In-fact, there's construction around my apartment block rn and has been for a year These builders start at first light and are gone by 15:30. Not many construction workers "work" in dark at height.

It's the fact it can fit into existing fittings found on site and doesn't need a base, which means a smaller footprint and less to carry up lots of stairs. Good idea in principle but too many alternatives on the market.

Surely the whole thing just boils down to being a range of adaptors that let a scaffold pole stand up like a lamppost and to mount a light to that pole? Surely that's nothing new, unique or something someone couldn't make of bolt together from existing accessories? I've been to amateur and low-end sports stadiums where I have seen just that done (instead of readymade solutions)
