Defending Todd White is Defending the Indefensible

A few weeks ago I did a podcast on Todd White and his shocking use of 2 Corinthians 5:21. There was a surprising number of people who tried to defend him against his blasphemy.
Here is another clip of Todd White that is utterly indefensible. This one is worse than the other. Let me say, though, that the clip of Todd White in today’s podcast is very, very disturbing.

God is not human like us at all, God never changes nor lies ( malachi 3:6, Numbers 23:19). the bible reveals a Good God and the bible also reveals this same Holy Good God reaching out to save the villains whom are people. and you forgot to mention how many people in the old testament killed people, sacrificed their children to demons, committed adultery, fornication, bestiality, etc ( read 1 Kings and 2 Kings, Deuteronomy and Jeremiah and Ezekiel, ask the Holy Spirit to fill you so you can understand the Holy scriptures). and remember many of those same people in the old testament are the barbaric ones, not God. but God in His mercy reached out His hand to those same rebellious people because He loved them and wanted to save them from their wickedness and have a relationship with Him. and He still does the same thing today, He still wants to save people. people are fallible but God is not fallible. our thoughts are NOT His thoughts our ways are NOT His ways. people are villains people are sinful people chose to rebel against the Holy God, mankind disobeyed God and that's why sin came into the world but God in His omniscience and omnibenevolence planned salvation for us before He made all things ( Genesis 3:15, John 3:16). only God can save us from sin and from hell and from even ourselves and He wants to save us. get to know this biblical true God and not the false one of your opinions.

He wanted to cleanse the earth of sin-natured man, but he left 8 sin-natured people alive to repopulate the earth with sin-natured people. "His thoughts are not our thoughts and his ways are not our ways." That's what I always hear when people know they can't defend the indefensible - God's murders, his genocides in the Old Testament, so they just shrug and say, well, God's ways are not our ways. And of course God is fallible. He is very human. He was going to kill all the Israelites for disobeying him in the wilderness....until Moses pointed out to him that that would be a stupid thing to do because then everyone would say, "Hey, look, God knew he couldn't fulfill his promise to the Isrealites so he killed them all." God realized that he was wrong, and Moses was right, and so changed his mind. Fallibility. Too bad Moses wasn't around when God decided to curse Adam and Eve's descendants for sin that they never did. If he'd shown one ounce of love and forgiveness at that time, human history would have been far different. But there was no mercy in him. He does not deserve your worship.

@@metapolitikgedanken612 I am only demonstrating how difficult it is to be called out on our judgments, the statements "I feel like Todd's message is more likely revealing the sin that is going on in Todd's private life" and "that he is trying to justify these sins". The issue of what is being taught is a separate matter, all teachers of the word are going to be in error at some time or another, and perhaps for a season in their life. Only Jesus got it right 100% of the time. So really you ought to repent for saying this is about the sin in Todd's life because that is a stone that we ought not to carry, and especially not throw at our brothers. I don't agree with all of what Todd teaches either, but he is leading thousands to Christ, and Paul said that some will preach Christ even out of contention, but Christ is preached! I hope we can agree that the Holy Spirit can and does work with the seed that is sown. Another may water it, and praise God he gives the increase because his word will perform what it was sent out to do - regardless of the mistakes we make. Thanks for the heart-to-heart.

Also, Todd was attempting to provide an exegesis to the scripture "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" [2 Cor 5:21] and he missed it, that is why he took the video down, that is repenting, And if God forgives Todd his hamartia, then why is this video being pushed, who would push out what God has forgotten? Those who attempt to know the heart of another man are more often revealing their own heart, Jesus knew this very well. so why do you say the "Tragedy is probably he even believes what he said", why would you think the worst of him instead of believing according to [Philippians 4:8]? Most people have little or no understanding of how Jesus was made sin, because if they did it would change their lives.

Beware of what (Christ) actually teaches concerning judgement, (Matthew) 7. ..and privacy..Matthew 18: 15. Now who among will figure out (by Christ's own teaching) who the wicked one is. I was raised in an Evangelical Lutheran Church and still espouse those same ideals today at 44 years old. Evangelism is speaking the precise Word of God, teaching the Gospel, helping the poor, the sick, teaching children and giving all praise and glory of the days evangelism to God. @@arthapeterson5239 We all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God ( Romans 3:23). sin leads to hell but Jesus leads to Heaven because Jesus is the only way to Heaven, He's the only way we can be Saved, the bible ( which is infallible and uncorruptible and never lies) says that Jesus came to save us from sin and from hell and even from ourselves ( Luke 5:32, John 3:16). Jesus came and went to the cross to pay our sin debt full, He died and paid our sin debt in full, God the Father rose Jesus on the third day, He conquered hell, sin, death, the world and He stumped on the devil's head. He broke the walls that kept us from coming to Him and having a relationship with Him. He did all that for us because He loves us and wants to save us and He wants to have a relationship with us ( John 3:16, John 14:6, John 19:30, Romans 5). come to Jesus, He's the one and only true God, believe and repent of your sins and God will forgive you and cleanse you and make you born again by His Holy Spirit ( John 3:3-18). Life is short, today is the day of salvation! you don't know when you will die it can be any minute or second, don't die without Christ, it's a fate worse than anything. hell isn't worth your soul, come to Jesus and repent and you'll be saved from hell and from sin ( Romans 10:9-14).

Ask God through prayer to simply open your eyes to His Truth and wisdom. He gives freely His wisdom without restraint because he loves you and wants you to know the Truth and have eternal life . He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Please read chapters altogether not just verses so you get the content, the whole meaning not fragments of what's being said... after a year -go back and watch Todd White you will be shocked. We are responsible for what we put into our own soul/Bible search. If we don't search scripture we are extremely vulnerable to deception. Deception is deceptive. We don't know we're deceived. Think about it. We're blind but have eye's that work . We have ears but can't hear. We have hearts but their dull, insensitive to God's voice because we have innumerable time's ignored His guidance and cast His word's behind us so much. We become hardened and think it don't matter. Deceptions sole purpose is to get us in that state- spiritually. Completely separated from God now which leads to complete separation from God later, which is the opposite of love, joy, peace, comfort, laughter, contentment because these are what God is and being separate from Him separates us from all good. Hate, grief, dis-contentment, anger, crying, weeping, grinding of teeth are a few examples of separation from God is in like. But it's for all eternity not just 70-80 years He gives us on earth. He's given us everything we need in His word to live godly and pleasing to Him. He wants so much to give you eternal life now. So much so He gave His Son as a ransom for your sin's. The very thing that separates you now from God the Father Jesus Paid for in full on the cross. Living a Godly life is a Huge blessing, you have more peace, your loved and have a clear conscience with Him so there's open communication and he's always with you, you're never alone , He guides, protects, delivers you out of every situation in His way and timing of course but it's always, always the best for you. He knows everything already so you might as well just start apologizing. Ask Him to forgive you. Learn about how Jesus paid the price for your sin's personally by reading the bible. Learn about how His resurrection from the grave can affect your life for all eternity. Focus on the power that's in Christ Jesus to save. Love Him for what he's done for you and thank Him. I Care about your soul. That's why I just spent 20 minutes or more writing you this tiny but powerful message on my tiny tiny phone screen and now have a slight headache and kinked neck. It's worth it because I'm hoping and praying this message to you will be reread over and over and you'll turn your mind and heart towards God again as you did as a child. That you'll find peace with Him through acceptance of the cross and the blood that was shed on your behalf freely. There's no cost to you besides your Everything. He is good and He is worthy. He is Jesus the Christ the Son of the Living God in whom Only redemption is found. Please please Seek, knock and find . Please don't do nothing, your soul is of Greatest Value

Clearly he has a low opinion of God which has led him to discount God's holiness and his own sinful nature and 2. he has a sexually perverse mind that he indulges by saying it's the mind of God, and the perversion is largely unmitigated because of #1 preventing him from confessing the sin but instead greatly multiplying it by attributing it to God. This struggle against sexual perversion, which many men suffer, may continue throughout his natural life and certainly disqualifies him from the role he's assumed. If not for #1, he would realize that and step down, an act for which there is no shame. I too am disqualified, most of us are. The shame is having taken the role in the first place and, like King Saul, refusing to let it go until it is stripped from you by God Himself.

So he's not like the man that has a known weakness for immoral thoughts who wrestles with them IN the Spirit of Christ. I believe Jesus chose lustful thinking about women for a reason. In my personal experience those thoughts come quite suddenly, unexpectedly and with varying degrees of power. I'm probably jaded, by I'm suspicious of any man that says he's entirely overcome it. But he goes much further than natural sexuality into publicly speaking unconscionable thoughts. Like THE worse perversions among mankind. Even a pagan thinking these things should be concerned enough to seek therapy.
