Dear Martin, I've been following your work for some time and am more than impressed... being a penal beater myself (retired now) PDR is something new for me and I still find difficult to believe this is possible - I mean something to THIS level !!! just awesome...
@dentremover012 жыл бұрын
Hi Suresh thanks for your comments and well done 25 years in the trade!! Yes PDr has been around a long time but it’s never really been a main stream method until recently. I’m sure pdr techs have been saving big damage for years but again no one has really pushed their work for others to see. Now with the easy reach of social Media we see these big saves and it really does open your eyes to what’s possible and the amazement that the paint still holds together! I love fixing the big stuff and there’s some guys on KZbin doing even bigger stuff (discount dent) (Brice Kelly, central dent repair) would be worth a look too Thanks for watching and commenting. And hope your enjoying your retirement Martin 🙌🏼

Hello Martin good night from Spain .... I follow your videos and I really like your work ..... I have been a professional painter writer for more than 20 years ... and I am learning the techniques of rods and pdr .. .... sorry for the indiscretion but can you tell me how much you charged for this work ???? ... ... thanks .....
@dentremover014 жыл бұрын
Hi Miguel thanks for your comment and we’ll done for getting into PDR I’m sure your painting knowledge will help you learn PDR quicker. I don’t like to give exact figures out because every repair is different based on the damage etc Was less than £500 if this helps? Cheers Martin
@OnubaDSP4 жыл бұрын
@@dentremover01 here in Spain to repair and paint that fender would cost about € 200 and it would take about 4 hours to do the job. Do you work with insurance companies or are private clients ????? ......
@dentremover014 жыл бұрын
Hi Miguel, I think you could get more than €200 for this, what’s the other option? Repair and paint, blend the bonnet, bumper and door? Also I think it comes down to the individual customer too. You need to charge what your comfortable with for spending the adequate time on the job to get it as good as. I bet there’s guys in the USA would charge 800-1000+ for this I’m mainly private/retail but will do work for anyone aslong as I get paid pronto
