this is a good plan for feeding moms, just add more curd as snack and have haldi doodh at bedtime. Dont forget to include desi ghee for better health of your thyroid. Hope this helps :)

cut out refined oils completely and use desi ghee, coconut oil or any local oil from the place you live in like groundnut oil, mustard oil etc. hope this helps :)

Half a banana - 60 Ghee with uthappam 100-150 Chutney 20-30 Pickle 20-30 1 Aloo 150-200 Ghee on roti 100-200 Curd 80-100 Guava 50 Handful of peanuts 190 Cup of rice 150-180 Dal 100-150 Just the above come to about 1000-1300 calories and that is without adding millet flour and wheat flour. Pretty sure this meal plan will come close to 1500 calories which is a healthy amount of calories. 900 calories is too low.

To the ones thinking that white rice leads to weight gain or no weight loss, as mentioned earlier by a lot of people, it is important to know the moderation according to one's body. Another main thing is that, for South Indians rice is staple depending on the weather, eating habits and everything here. So, weight loss is bound to happen by giving your body what it needs, in moderation and according to the climate of the place you live in.

I'm trying to reduce it to 1meal a day. *Eat homemade *Eat as much as you want but don't sleep right after you eat *Drink water after 1hr *30mins physical activity *Follow same routine *Don't eat anything after sunset You'll loose weight eventually and will stay like that.

For weight loss, 7Am have lemon with warm water, 8:30 am have black coffee 10Am have a boiled egg and soaked nuts .. try to have all kinds of nuts which should bring one small bowl full 12:30 have one cup of brown rice or millets with more vegetable curry and have small cup of curd 3 Pm have any fruit juice without sugar 6pm have one bowl of sprouts along with the fruit pieces. 9pm have one glass of buttermilk .. Finally cut-down the carbohydrates & sugar, increase proteins & vitamins Untill unless .... Coming out of the comfort zone.. weight loss is highly impossible ..

Her breakfast plus the fruit is about 400 calories. Her lunch is around 200 calories And then the snacks is around another 100 calories. The dinner is easily 300 calories. The entire thing is less than 1000 calories. Keep in mind her portions. They're extreme little. Ghee has 11 calories in 1/4 tablespoon.

Are you using ‘hand pounded semi-brown rice’ for the Palak moong dal and rice meal? Please let me know Nisha. I bought Mantra brand organic hand pounded semi-brown rice from Amazon. @@nish8435 there is some basic requirement of protein, I agree they are 2 different things but im sure you know losing weight could also mean you are losing your present muscle mass if its done in the wrong way, thats not making you healthier. For optimal health that we strive for via weight loss needs proper protein source, its not about gaining muscle. Protien is the building block of the body, we need a baseline quality to keep the body healthy.

That is a good idea - but weight reduction means that you want to find something that is high in protein and low in carbohydrates. So if you are concerned with using aloo or potatoes, you can use high fibre potatoes or sweet potatoes. If you are concerned with using wheat flour, use other grains or whole-wheat flour (so flour that is brown or red, instead of white)!

T N it’s not 900 calories as I have followed 1100 calories meal plan and they include less carbohydrates. But the meal plan looks yummy 😊

I'd say there's 100-200 calories easy just in the peanuts. Not sure what kind of Ghee she's using but regular ghee is about 120 calories per tbsp

Look at the rice quantity ( it’s v v less ) and uththapam contains fiber rich millets and veggies ( complex carbs )

Mam I love your videos. So helpful. Can u please confirm the tawa which you are using , is an 8"one. Also mam, myself and my daughter are hypothyroid. Can we totally come out of thyroid tablets just changing the diet. Please advise.
