I mean, it's true that there is a lot of propaganda in Disney films and other media. It wouldn't matter if Disney cared about gay people or not. Its, as you said, a cash out. Disney will do whatever they can to make more money. And that just happens to be that they will bring social issues and politics into there films. Even if the overall quality of those films and shows goes down because of it. I personally am not standing on either side of the fence. It’s abstention from … rather than participation in … But it doesn’t really make much sense. I also think they may try to argue with it in the grounds that this is an exception. For example, they may try to argue that, in the case of revoking a child’s right to live, there can be laws set in place to prevent that. However, I think banning abortion is a little extreme and measures riding around responsible, safe sex is a better alternative. After all, STDs and having the Abortion in the first place shouldn’t happen. Abortion is a key tool that can help someone maintain control over their own lives, and is important in the (often hypocritically) “freedom” oriented states like America.

How can anyone spout that ridiculous shit out without realizing how completely utterly batshit f*cking insane it is? pretty sure I rememember seeing ppl who were homeschooled make a subreddit to talk about how mad it was and the trauma they went through because of it, apparently those "statistics" about american homeschooled kids having higher grades are basically made up too 😭😭 I think most of them are funded by pro-homeschooling/fundamentalist christian groups where there's no quality control and they just go by self-reported surveys without checking the validity of their answers (plus a lot of homeschooling parents won't even respond to those surveys, especially if they're barely teaching their kids). I saw a lot of them say that their parents basically didn't teach them at all, and some of them never even had social security numbers. the government basically doesn't even know if a bunch of these kids exist or not, nor do they try very hard to find out.

It’s the same reason why they want to remove sex education from schools. She's kinda challenged, to get that out of the way. Anyway, I actually would like a civilized discussion about the topic. People always go full on sentimental and religious about it. I personally think abortion shouldn't be this easy, because it is a extremely delicate matter that includes (in a safe and healthy way) a long mentally and physically tough process that also needs a good amount of resources. If we talk about forceful impregnation I absolutely agree people should be able to abort, but if we don't, I would argue it's your fucking faul and abortion may be your right but not the resources, time, or effort. We shoul prevent, and not do stupid shit, and then desperately try to fix it with resources it wouldn't have needed.
@wozzi2 жыл бұрын
@@thickennugget2980 Disregarding the actual content within the video as I've yet to watch it all. I would like to hold you up to this discussion on the topic. Fundamentally, it's a right reserved for people because it's their own bodies; I believe this is indisputable. Additionally, whilst this take is more personal, if you don't have a uterus, why dictate the options and choices of those who do? For more measurable reasons, however; I disagree with your statement and reasoning for why abortion shouldn't be accessible. Firstly, you say abortion is an "extremely delicate matter" and has both physical and mental repercussions. Arguably, it is not; abortion is nowadays a far more streamlined and noninvasive process. There are different methods of abortion; however, for the best example, the least invasive procedure is simply via a pill. This will in most cases produce minimal if any physical or mental stress. "Most women will not experience any problems, and there is a small risk of complications" that's cited from the NHS website on abortions. Comparatively, pregnancy and childbirth are both extremely dangerous states to go through. Pregnancy can have an inordinate amount of complications, as well as childbirth. Some examples are post-partum depression, post-partum anxiety, and gestational diabetes 'where you develop diabetes due to pregnancy'. Not to mention, the experience is highly traumatic and exhausting. It is not the 'magical' time that it is often shown as being. Moving onto the argument in terms of resource expenditure. Pregnancies and childbirth, undeniably expend far more resources from both the individual and medical practices, than any abortion ever could. Regarding medical practices, a pregnant individual uses hospital beds and visits far more often. For the individual, the financial cost is unprecedented, from buying new clothes to medical products to pay for hospital bills following childbirth. This is the surface of costs, as I'm confident there are far more for both the individual and medical practices, even the state depending on the mode of medical welfare in a country. Ultimately, not allowing an abortion costs the individual and potentially state more resources than allowing it. Whilst banning abortions probably makes money for private health enterprises, but that's an entirely different problem. And all of this doesn't even factor in situations of sexual assault, 'stealthing' (search it up) or coercion by men to not use protection. Even if someone decides to get pregnant and then decides otherwise, why shouldn't they be allowed to exercise that right? ` Abortion is not an ideological issue; it is not a religious or political issue; it is not even an issue. It is a medical and surgical procedure entitled to all, just as with any other medical or surgical procedure. Too often, the experiences of the individual are overlooked, to favour the potential future of an undeveloped embryo that sure could eventually become a child but often with great risk. Furthermore, many children are born into financially unstable and toxic households, perhaps the mother is a drug addict and wants to abort her child to prevent more suffering. Perhaps, the mother cannot afford, to raise a child, like many in the current cost of living crises. Perhaps, it was a mistake or maybe, they just don't want a kid. So that's all the formal stuff. At the end of the day, man, why punish someone for getting pregnant? Why force someone to have children? Not to mention, women don't get pregnant alone, why do women solely have to bear the burden? Lots of occasions of unexpected pregnancies are the fault of the man and not otherwise. Lastly, someone forced into parenthood is far more likely to resent their own child, leaving neither happy. I hope I've provided some helpful insight.
