You may not want to enter these ribs into a BBQ competition, but so what, they are delicious!!! BBQ competitions judge ribs soooo critically, but all you should really care about is, do they taste DELICIOUS!?!? These ribs that were smoked in the Ninja Woodfire Outdoor Grill turned out to be some of the tastiest ribs we've ever made, and we've made hundreds of ribs over the years! The best part about these ribs is that they were smoked to perfection for only 2 hours! That is mind-blowing, because ribs typically take anywhere from 4-6 hours on a regular smoker.
Once you master pork ribs, you're ready to take on beef ribs!!!!! They taste beefy and very similar to brisket, in fact, they are sometimes referred to as brisekt on a stick, with the stick being the rib bone! Check out this video next! • Everyone’ll love YOU w...

glad you buy from your local butcher. i love that. its called a rub because in the old days we rubbed it into the meat into every nook and cranny. but when competitions started on tv, they would dust the meat and pat in in. then it all changed. you didnt get a smoke ring because the ribs weren't under 140 long enough.

Thanks for the comment on the membrane! First time I made pork ribs I think I spent like 20 minutes per rack trying to get those damn things off! I even watched videos of how to do it but they were just do slippery for me to get a hold onto. Now I just slice it between each rib. Maybe I'll try the crosshatch like the other commenter.

Love those ribs. Now about the membrane. I am in the camp of removing it. More seasoning and smoke coverage. However, the silver can be a pain to remove sometimes. Now if it comes off great if it doesn't it is still great.

If I’m not mistaken I believe smoking Joe’s BBQ does pickle juice in his mustard binders. And also a little known fact maybe but Chick-fil-A uses pickle juice on their chicken batter! Two racks of ribs on that little ninja Woodfire grill actually fits and that’s amazing. That unit must be a little bit larger than I thought. I still haven’t seen one where I live. Will agree to disagree on the membrane ladies… That’s all I have to say about that. And the smoke ring I guess is coveted by most but I don’t think it has much to do with the flavor, however I could be crazy! You all take care and hopefully I’ll catch you tomorrow!🍻🍻

If the membrane is to stay on, I personally would not bother putting any rub on the underside of the ribs. I believe that the membrane will not let the flavor pass through. When you peel it off, after the cook, the rub will likely go with it. I have smoked many racks on my Pit-Boss easy-bake oven (pellet grill). Aside from cap-steaks, baby-backs are my family's favorite. Since it is down for maintenance, so this will be my first go at it on the Ninja. I LOVE the thought that Ninja put into it. I enjoyed your video.

But unfortunately what you don’t know about that membrane is when it cooks its ribs. It falls back on a minute doesn’t allow them to cook properly. That’s why you’re supposed to take it off so it doesn’t fold up while it’s cooking. That’s why your ribs look like they’ve been curled up a little because of that membrane and no it’s not that hard to takeoff you just take a knife you cut you cut where the skin in the meat you are and you grab it and pull it off simple as that sometimes you gotta do a little more filleting and cutting but for the most part it pulls right off depending on how good your butcher is
