That’s a great way to put it. And it’s true. You build resilience and realise that if you’ve got through difficult things before even if you don’t know how you managed to get through, it gives you hope that you can get through pain you might not think your capable of in the moment.

I’ve only watched 4 videos but I feel so much better, truly thank you to this guy he really helped me in only 2 hours Edit: to put it in context, just last week I was going fishing with him and helping him pack his house so he can move, he moved 5 days and then I got a call from him telling me he has COVID, I thought nothing off it, then just yesterday my mom rushed home from work crying telling me and my brother to look at the face time cuz it might me our last chance, then this morning I was told again that he doesn’t have very long left, I can’t even see him because the doctors won’t pick up the phone because they’re busy and I can’t see in person cuz he’s 3 states away

I had this sudden feeling of coming back to this video to comment. My whole life quote and what I’ve always been preaching to my friends is “everything happens for a reason”. However, for a couple of days I’ve been feeling empty, I have had panic attacks and cried hard. I have no idea what the reason is and it seemed like I couldn’t pull myself out. I was so obsessed with the thought of “being happy again”. Which made me feel bad and mad at myself for not being able to feel happy. Right now, I’m at more peace. I’m breathing, keeping myself busy and letting everything go. Good things, good days will come.

I can’t tell you HOW MUCH you’ve helped me, Simon. You make me so motivated and make me realize that the world is not on my shoulders; like you said, “you realize that the world actually goes really slow.” That is so meaningful to me. You helped me through life, gave me love, taught to love the darkness, and love myself, and I thank you so so much❤️. (Plus helping others) What your doing in this video(driving around and chilling, walking around and seeing life), I have always wanted to do that. I’m not old enough yet to drive and even go on a walk just by myself because my parents don’t want me to be lost or get hurt(I also live in a safe neighborhood), but it’s understandable. The closest I can be free outside is on my driveway. I can see the nature and stars so clearly, like your free, you feel amazingly calm and happy. It’s so nice to do it. Again, thank you so much and I hope you see this. Thank you, and I will support you forever❤️❤️.

I agree there is something therapeutic about that.. Me and one of my close friends were at my best friends sleepover and so we joked we were going to my house to grab a sucker from my van because I guess we are like that always silly.. We and two others walked for almost a mile and then turned around to go back me and my close friend laid in the middle of the abandoned, quiet street and just watched the stars for a good ten minutes. We talked about life and love and deep stuff like that, under the stars, in the middle of a road where literally anyone could come and snatch us or run us over yet there was something soothing about it. Of course we could hear a vehicle from far away so we would get up and go hide in the grassy ditches until they passed then we would go lay back down, the warm asphalt against our back seeping through our clothes. It was an amazing experience!

For some reason, it feels nice sharing your thoughts with people online. Even if you may never see them in real life. It just feels comforting knowing that random people around the world are sharing the same problems with you. Venting like this.

I truly feel, deep within myself that I found my twin soul in you. Everything you said in this personal but yet very heart warming journal, represents such this tiny but very powerful part of the soul. Everything really happens for a reason. Every success, every failures, every lessons, every good or bad moments are meant to be here, on the path of our lifes. It’s Destiny. :)

Yes im new, yes i came from tik tok, yes im like you, yes we’re meant to be here, yes you’re important and you made so many people happy, and yes you mean a lot and people who dont think that, arent in your life for the right reasons, so go, live your life, and dont worry about this, just think, will this matter in 10 years? Will it matter in 5? Now throw on your music, make yourself some 2 minute noodles and continue scrolling, and just know ur loved and have an amazing day

Idk what it is about this video, but it made me break down in tears in my kitchen… in a good way though. I think i haven’t cried in a while, so i just had all of these bottled up emotions building up inside me. I cried not necessarily out of sadness, but just as my body’s way of releasing these pent up emotions that i have been keeping inside me. This video was so soothing and calming that i think it just made me open enough to let myself cry right there in my kitchen ❤️

Read this in some book : Everytime you feel lost, be grateful. Because being lost in life, is a sign by the universe that you've grown. Everytime you grow and head towards a new chapter in life, the universe throws a new hurdle at you. Each bigger than the last. And that's just the beauty of it. The proof of your growth. And that a new, better you is waiting for you to overcome those moments where everything appears to be juggling with your sanity "

i felt like i wasnt worthy of life. today. yesterday. this week, this year, the past 365 days. i lost so many people, and as a spreading affect, people who left me spread things about me that made other people avoid me. i knew i was not valued in this world, and other people knew it too. but you're right, everything happens for a reason. this video made me feel more human, and a little more valued. thanks :)

I am in a very bad period of my life. very anxious period. but watching your video made me remember that there is a reason for all this and that it is all part of life. It's midnight right now, and when I wake up tomorrow morning, I'll watch your video again, maybe the day after that. I just wanted to thank you for reminding me that there are certain problems in everyone's fault. Thank you very much

I like how you talked about how you felt so lost but you still find love in the tiniest parts of living. I feel like we should remember that those things aren’t exclusive. you can be lost and unsure and you can still love everything about the world, you can still find joy in those things. I feel like that happens a lot when you tell people you have depression, or you’re struggling mentally. depression doesn’t mean you can’t be happy. it doesn’t remove that fact. nothing is ever on its own, most things are better off described as mixtures. I’m happy I came across this. life is a mixture of things. you are lost, but you love. regardless, regardless, regardless.

Some moments will push you to do things out of the blue. How crazy it might be. Its another kind of moment, just being there alone, all by yourself, living the moment. I dunno, but life feels easy when its all silence around, obviously you’re scared, but its another kind of peace. It feels ethereal. Just you, your thoughts and what you want, wanna express. No filter, no one to obstruct you. Its just you in the moment, you connect with your deepest self, you feel at peace, you imagine your future
