That's why they work 99% of the time. Something that is moving and flashing is going to hold your eye for longer while you have to think about how to react to it, which is precisely why they use flashing lights to slow down and redirect traffic in emergencies and such. No there's a great reason... He needs to understand that it's ridiculous. You ever wear a shirt that your friends ridiculed you about? Did you ever wear it again? You should say thank you because you saved yourself from a lot of embarrassment.

Derek Cozens died by suicide in 2017. He left all his money to charity. It really stinks that Dragons Den decided to reupload a video of him being humiliated on national TV by millionaires who've never done a good deed in their lives.

Funny that because the UK are actually adding lights to Motorway signs. They're testing it out. Obviously it's a much much better design than this guy's. However the idea is still the same.
@Eidolon1andOnly3 жыл бұрын
@@will123134 No, he isn't proposing these be used instead of signs, but to be placed on the sign posts to make them more visible. So the UK adding flashing lights to the signs is essentially the same idea. At no point in his pitch does he offer his solution as a replacement.
@Eidolon1andOnly3 жыл бұрын
@@will123134 LMAO, he literally strapped flashing lights onto the actual.sign posts themselves. This is in no way a replacement for the signs, nor set apart from the signs. If the words "alongside traffic signs" was used in this video it would mean "in conjuction with traffic signs" not physically along side as in placed next to.
@Eidolon1andOnly3 жыл бұрын
@@will123134 No they wouldn't be distracting, LMAO. There's already flashing lights placed on some traffic signs in the UK as well as the US and they've proven to increase visibility for those signs. Ad hominem isn't going to win you any arguments.
