Can't express how I'm feeling because I have been cured of my long term kidney disease. YEAH! Of course! God has the solution to every problem but you can't expect God to come down from Heaven to come get you cured on Earth. It doesn't work that way lol 😂. God works and performs miracles through men and men like HERBALIST DOCTOR KINGSLEY who own a youtube channel where you can get the cure for all kinds of disease within just a week. Doctor Kingsley's youtube channel is called THE SEVEN DAYS FAST CURE FOR HERPES 1&2..... the only channel on KZbin where you can get the cure for all diseases. I'm super excited right now I'm cured.

Just personal anecdotal experience; I used to drink high dose of Vitamin C tables because the marketing said so. What I noticed was 1 small lemon with my tea a day was more effective. I've stopped with Vit.C tablets and I have planted a lemon, lime, mandarin and cumquat tree. I've got citrus all year around. You can also grow them in pots if you don't have land.

I have Macular Degeneration & have been on “Bausch & Lomb’s Presser Vision AREDS2” two times per day. Thus formula has high C & E plus zinc, lute in, ,etc. I’ve been on this supplement since2014. I was diagnosed w/ CKD in 2019. I was hospitalized with CHD & put on very hig doses of water pills which damaged my kidneys. I have low BP, not diabetic, also don’t smoke, don’t drink. Am a little overweight but have lost a ton of weight since I’ve been on the CKD. Last test had me at a29 GFR which was a big morovement since I was diagnosed. My point is I don’t want to go blind. As it is, my vision has deteriorated. FYI, I’m 87. I do take a lot of supplements especially for eyes & heart & circulation. Are a lot of supplements hurting my kidneys?
@PlantBasedKidneyHealth2 жыл бұрын
It's important to review all supplements with your care team for individual recommendations since everyone's age, stage of CKD, labs and health history are different! In general though, high dose supplementation of vitamin C is typically not recommended for CKD.

Another great video. I have so many questions. I really enjoyed the calcium discussion. I have read that supplemental calcium can accelerate heart disease. I would like to know what is considered a high pulse pressure or the pressure between systolic and diastolic? Mine runs anywhere from 40 to 60. Ive read reports and studies showing anything over a 65 can mean that your disease is rapidly progressing. I have had protein in urine in the past but now i believe i just have microalbumin. Should i be worried with a pulse pressure between 40 and 60? Ive also read that calcium from diet is ok. Is this accurate? Ive also read that magnesium is a good supplement to take to help with vascular calcification so i take 300 mg 2 times a week and try to eat foods high in magnesium.
@CraigMullins12 жыл бұрын
wondering the same.
@PlantBasedKidneyHealth2 жыл бұрын
These are complex questions. Calcium accumulation depends on a number of factors including your body's ability to clear it. With regards to pulse pressure, the Framingham study used a pulse pressure of 50mmHg as a reference. Higher pulse pressure was an independent risk factor for heart disease (23% higher risk for every 10mmHg increase in pulse pressure). HOWEVER, other studies show that pulse pressure adds very little over systolic or diastolic blood pressure! Bottom line, aim for a good blood pressure (

17:20 - calcium supplements? What about Vitamin k and it's ability to remove calcium from soft tissue or help it form getting there in the first place? Truth? myth? I just had a scan and I have dozens of small phleboliths all over. And then they found a 1/2 inch one in my lung. The CT report recommended a pet scan. But the dr just said get another ct scan in 3 months. Is he trying to keep costs low for insurance? Should I be more aggressive and get the other?

Hi. Once a person starts on dialysis, is it necessarily 3x a week. Or is there possibility that once or twice a week will be enough? And once started, is it possible for kidney health to improve, meaning eGfr will improve?
@mathsandenglishwithj67946 ай бұрын
There's a possibility if u maintain organic plant based diet and also avoid weat go for brown rice but sometimes u can treat yourself. Make sure half boil all of vegetables before cooking and if u r not in dialysis drink two times in a day , half tea spoon of natural bicarbonate of soda with one glass of water two hours after meal and adequate exercise twice in a day. Blood level also should be in normal level so you can go for EPO hormone injection.

Jesus 10:45 My kidney dr just said go to walmart and get any multivitamin.Of course it's all super high dose vitamins and minerals. Ughh... Dr's just like car mechanics, Some just throw parts at a car till they figure it out or the bar breaks and is unrepairable. Is there a renal vitamin to choose? How do I pick a multi vitamin since my renal dr apparently isn't the greatest in this regard. How do I pick a new dr that's not an idiot? He said I could eat anything as well. Don't worry about what you eat till your kidney values are lower. It's really sad this stuff happens.
@johnseeker95202 жыл бұрын
I personally would stop taking multivitamin with calcium. Depending on your stage, condition, etc i would absolutely stay away from calcium supplements. Calcium in food is different and is believed to be ok. Magnesium, vitamink2 with mk7, green tea, arginine, statin, eating a predominantly plant based diet avoiding phosphorus additives has allowed me to greatly improve my gfr and greatly reduce protein and albumin in my urine. Dont leave it up to your dr to inform you of everything. Be your own advocate and educate yourself. I have bought every book worth reading on amazon about ckd and i feel more in control than i did initially. Educating yourself is very important
