Yum one of my favorites but I use a left over piece of corned beef. Onions potatoes chop up the corned beef and eggs over top. 😋 great comfort food. Leftover honey spiral ham chopped up make a nice ham hash too.

Do you make your own corned beef?
@karenhummel492 жыл бұрын
@@PMGK I buy the corned beef (roast) that comes with the packet of seasonings and cook it in water in the Instant pot under pressure. Of course with cabbage and carrots. Have to make two so I have some leftover meat to make the hash.

Sounds great. FYI, I don't know if you're aware or not but you're coming up under my "Held for review" comments, which are usually reserved for people using foul language in the comments. I don't know if you pissed off the KZbin gods or not but just wanted to let you know. It might be something that you can correct on your end. I didn't notice any bad language in your comments to me so, IDK!🍻

Great stuff. I've never had corned beef hash topped with runny yoke eggs, so this has me thinking 🤔🤤 One thing here before cooking is to cube the canned corned beef, then gently rinse it under running water to wash off the excess salt. Drain on to paper towel. 👍 Thanks pmkg for another great recipe. Cheers
@PMGK2 жыл бұрын
Runny yoke eggs is a must, when serving this dish. Also, rinsing the corned beef first is an excellent idea, for those who are sensitive to salt or just trying to cut it out of their diet. Some corned beef has been brined so heavily with salt that it doesn't need to be added to the onions and potatoes, much like I do in this recipe, the corned Beef is enough for some. I'll be adding that info to my website, when I get this recipe posted, later today. 🍻

Oh, sweet! Definitely better than the canned stuff, huh? 😂 Tomatoes are definitely refreshing but it is also the missing ingredient in this dish in that it provides acid. Allrecipes should have the basic for elements; salt, fat, acid and heat. This dish is also good with cheese and sour cream. 😊

Intrigued by the potato brush. Do you, by any chance, have an Amazon link list of your favorite cooking tools? I looked at the website couldn't find it. Thx
@PMGK2 жыл бұрын
I am sorry to say that I have never done that and you are the first to ask about it. I started teaching walk cooking this year and added a list of fairly inexpensive tools to get started there, in the description of those videos, but that's about it. The "potato brush" you're referring to, is just a dish scrubbing brush that can be filled with liquid soap and can be released with the push of a button on top.

The only corned beef I like is deli cut lunch meat. I would rather have a brisket from the butcher and cure it myself. I've never had that particular can of corned beef though. Thanks for the video. How come we don't get notified for yours or anyone's community post because every person I'm subscribed to don't know do you.

It's really Lame but KZbin keeps its creators in the dark. We never know what they're doing, what they're planning or if our channel is even going to continue to exist. It's funny because I have twice the audience I had 2 years ago but I'm only getting half the views now that I was getting back then.
@-RONNIE2 жыл бұрын
@@PMGK That is messed up. A friend of mine I've been watching for about 8 years don't you know about the community notifications. But she said these shorts are messing up the watch time percentage as well as lives it's all about averages she was telling me. So whatever you do don't do shorts - as well as if you do lives in the future wait one day then delete it. Hopefully that information will help you out. I know I'm still relatively new to your channel but you have good content so thank you and keep it up 👍🏻
@PMGK2 жыл бұрын
There's a lot of those rumors going around. KZbin claims to have separated the shorts from videos but subscribers still get a notification for shorts and a lot of them are disappointed when they get a teaser instead of the regular length videos they're used to. Originally, I thought it was going to be a good announcement platform to let you guys know what I was working on and what you can expect in the future but, I think you're right, I think shorts backfired on me too.
@-RONNIE2 жыл бұрын
@@PMGK yeah because shorts don't give a regular notification like a full length video. It still shows up though on your subscriber list icon pictures with the dot. I think they should stop messing with creators and subscribers and go back to the old way 😂 if I don't answer anything on your community page my apologies but I will always watch the videos. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Well that looks really really good but I got to tell you something, I have a can of the same corned beef in my refrigerator but it's bigger, I put it in the refrigerator so I can cut the fat off. But since I have sauerkraut and provolone cheese and all that stuff I'm going to make me a corned beef sandwich for the next couple days cuz here it is so hot!!!! 🥵
