Once again, I enjoyed that we take a new pathway through the rotation of consciousness. Not being able to anticipate the next step keeps my attention more present. The contemplation of indifference and love was deeply felt, bringing up old sense memories of feeling outside the circle of love, then merging with love, then in equanimity holding both. I couldn't quite wrap my head around the image of a bathtub full of milk and honey before it was time to move on, but I will work on that.
@AylaNovaNidra Жыл бұрын
Always a pleasure to hear from you 🖤✨ Don't worry about the divine tub. haha. Milk and Honey baths are historically known to be healing and enriching for the skin. It was believed that Cleopatra(Eygptian) would bath in milk and honey, Hippocrates (Greek) would recommend it as an ailment for the skin and the Romans would also use it for claifying and rejuvenating the skin.

Ayla, I was surprised to catch your new release a day early; I started it without even checking the subject matter, as I wanted to be surprised. Now it makes sense: Happy Valentine's Day❣🖤 There were definitely some powerful moments, things that perhaps I wasn't quite ready for, so I will definitely be returning to this. One of those moments was in the balancing of the sensations of love and indifference (which differ still from hate or apathy). I loved your instruction to let go of creating expectations of what you're supposed to be feeling; you caught me🧤 at just the right time . I also sensed from your voice that you've recently had some better days, and certainly hope that is the case 😃
@AylaNovaNidra Жыл бұрын
Haha, It was an internal debate about whether to release it a day early and in the end, it felt right. 🖤✨ Yes... love is a powerful verb and emotion. The lack of emotion and action through indifference is quite the polarity. I will find in my own practice at times the desire to feel differently is only a distraction/abandonment of what is truly present... There is space for everything, simultaneously. We are multidimensional beings it's no wonder we are such complex... and yet simple beings.😂
@jefflynch Жыл бұрын
@@AylaNovaNidra Complex, yet simple, indeed! I really enjoy your exploration of this duality, and hope to hear you further expound on our multidimensional nature at some point. I share your obvious predilection for diction; listening to your words on that subject is something I know I would very much appreciate🙃

Oh my goodness, this is one of my favorites, if it’s possible to have one favorite in this amazing Yoga Nidra with Ayla! Did you really make us hover over our bodies? I felt like that! I have another question, why do we breathe only two physiological sigh instead of three, for example? Seems that, for a reason that I don’t know, the tendency is to repeat three-or any multiple of three-breathing, three exercises, three salutations, etc. Although, it’s true, we don’t follow that pattern here. I’m just curious. I am really grateful for this practice, thank you so much!
@AylaNovaNidra11 ай бұрын
you know, I like to just shake things up every once in a while… But you are right I do love doing things in threes. However, it is my understanding that it only takes two physiological size to help reset the nervous system recently I’ve been adding three for good measure.

@AylaNovaNidra Жыл бұрын
Thank you for asking, I write my own scripts by the influence of iRest, School of Sankalpa, and the Bihar School of Yoga Nidra… I am also very inspired by the teachings of Richard Miller, Rick Hanson, Jack Kornfield, Ram Dass, Frank Ostaseski, Roshi Joan Halifax, and Joe Dispenza to name a few. I hope that gives some insight if you are feeling motivated to do some additional research. 🖤✨
