I tried this recipe. It turns out to be a hits. Everyone says it is the most cheesy , creamy cheesecake. But i reduced the amount of sugar half and scaleup to 8" pan. This recipe is super easy. Highly recommend ❤❤❤

Hello and thank you for the recipe! I have made larger versions of the burnt Basque burnt cheesecake from La Viña restaurant in San Sebastián several times with unpredictable results. I had a hard time finding a small terrine of the size you recommend here in the US but did find a ceramic pâté mold by Le Creuset in the size you specify just last week. I tried your method this week and got a perfect result to serve at a small gathering for 6. My oven does not have the cooking mode you specified, but in the ceramic terrine at 450 degrees F. with convection my result was perfect. Thank you again for the superb recipe and technique! Cheers! Here in Spain, the more raw cheesecake is, the more expensive is. I’m a cook, and I was expending lot of hours with my chef to find the perfect balance of textures. I really apreciate your video. Just a word of precaution for those who are curious about the taste. So this cake is VERY RICH in flavor….it’s like eating only the cheese part of the cheese cake. If that’s your thing, then you can go at this, but if you’re like me, where you want a bit of a crust to balance out the richness of the cheese in the cheesecake, then this may be too much. It is delicious but in a very small amount.

@@randomness8819 not nutritionnist there, but it's half fat half sugar like any other cheesecake(the base of any cheesecake is pouring sugar into cheese, how can it be healthy). The cheese itself(I believe he used Kiri wich is industrial) is nice, you can take one portion on bread here or there, it doesn't have much taste tho.

Hola!, ayer vi el vídeo de esta tarta de queso, justo después de verlo salia del trabajo y fui a comprar los ingredientes que no tenia en casa. La hice a medio día, y por la noche cuando volví y acabe de cenar, la probé!, y es la mejor tarta de queso que he probado. Me sobraron unos 10 minutos de tiempo de horno, porque con el propio calor interno se terminaría y quedaría al punto que prefiero, aun así deliciosa. En vez de crema batida utilice creme freiche, quizás mas espesa pero con un resultado riquísimo. Gracias por tus recetas!, un abrazo desde España.
