One common thread that seems to repeat itself (I've actually done it in my personal life too...stupid me!) Is girls supporting guys through their studies and when they've finished studying and start earning their own money apparently lots of us women have served our purpose as the guy leaves. Girls, look for a fella who is independent and proud of it. Not a guy who wants a replacement for their Mum who did everything for them. Take care.

@@OrontesRM I agree. Too many STDs out there, plus the friend deserves to know. This story is sooo over the top, plus it's from Reddit. I don't believe anything posted on that site. Most women aren't stupid, and why would she go to supervillain lengths of planning just to announce said plans to the world so that he was forewarned? Doesn't make sense. If true, though, she did nothing to ruin his life. He did that himself. Everything she took belonged to her. She simply walked away, let the school know that they had a TA that was predatory, and was able to move on richer, wiser, and with her head held high. Bonus points for doing so much sooner than a lot of women who would have stood by him and supported him, married him, and popped a couple of kids out before finally divorcing him after his 20th affair. This is the way all cheating partners should be handled. I am so grateful that I have never (knowingly) been cheated on, and I hope to never have to experience that.

I have an entitled guy story, we were in a group project with a guy who was hitting on another girl in our group. When she said she was not interested and had a boy friend, he went to the teacher and asked to leave our group saying that we were rude to him. The teacher came to ask us, this was halfway through the semester so he knew us by this point, and said “I want to get your side of the story.” So I told the teacher straight up “He hit on another group member she said no and he left the group, after not doing any work on the project,” this was also one week before it was due. The teacher told us that we would not be penalized for losing a member and therefore possibly not having the same amount of research done as the other groups. That guy had to do his project alone and did a very poor job of presenting, not sure what grade he got but we got an A+ on our project and rocked our presentation. Also the guy hit her up over texting so we had proof on our side if it had come to that, but like I said the teacher knew us, we participated in class discussions some of the only ones who did, and did our work.

Hi, I'm curious about your group projects. I'm in Australia and at tertiary studies level (University) we have group projects yet we also have peer reviews. Each person involved in the group project has to write a paragraph or two about what input each person contributed to the said project. Only the educator gets to read them so people can be honest. There's always one who lets the team down with crap excuses then all the others scramble to do that persons work in time. It's really helpful as it holds people accountable and everyone involved knows if they don't do the work then they can be failed and the others can get top marks. What country are you in and do your universities have this system in place? Thanks, from Australia 🐨.
@McFizzie_672 жыл бұрын
@@elenawilliams32 Hi I live in Canada and sadly we do not have that system. We hold each other accountable for work and have to go to the teacher if someone is not helping but it is not the best system. I love the system you have and it would be great to implement it here, as long as people actually do not share what they wrote about each other.
@elenawilliams322 жыл бұрын
@@McFizzie_67 I thought Canada would definitely have had a system like this in place. I'm quite surprised. Maybe suggest it, you could be the instigator of fairness in group projects. It's really unfair that someone who contributed nothing or very little then benefits from the others hard work. The peer reviews aren't shared and it's not allowed to be a personal attack, it's purely about the task at hand and who put the work in. Everyone involved in the project has to write about each person. Just the facts. Eg; Caitlin was meant to research and present the section on marketing, she didn't so Andrea and I had to do it in a mad scramble as she only let us know she hadn't done it yesterday. Or... Andreas task was to compare local target marketing to international marketing on the subject, she did this well and had it completed to a high standard on time. Go on, talk to a few of your educators as they also get frustrated handing out the same grades to 4 students when they well know that only 3 put in the work. It is also motivates those previously lazy people as they know they'll get called out and get a lower grade. Go on, suggest it. You have nothing to lose and fairness to gain! You can do it. I'm betting that if you talk about it with your uni mates the conversation will spread throughout your university quickly as it's a bloody great system. Take care. 🐨

I used to do online dating, and the number of "nice guys" who think that they are entitled to your time or your body just because you talked to them online is astounding. The truly sad thing is that they don't even realize that they're falling into the "nice guy" category. They truly think that they are above it all. It's frightening. Of course the other things those guys felt entitled to were equally terrible. The woman who said she was going to "let his world burn?" That's not petty; that's giving someone exactly what they have earned. He's going to have to learn quickly about the very real consequences of his actions, and his ex-girlfriend will be nowhere near to be his crutch while he struggles. I often thought a lot that I was lucky to not be very "in the standards" because it allowed me to escape nice guys (tall, swimmers' shoulders ...) ... And then I remembered the guy who followed me in the book store. And the one who followed me in the mall. And the old creep who "complimented" me when I was clearly a teen. And the perv teachers. And the guy who tried to flirt with me by litteraly touching me all over my body and thinking I was agreeing since I wasnt saying no when I was super frozen of shock (btw guys just don't touch a woman to see if she's interested, it's an awful test). Nice guys are awful men, but it's terryfying to see how many women normalized the biggest part of their assaults so they forgot they were assaults. Harassing a woman is not only by groping her or calling her the C word, it's forcing her to be touched, it's saying she's not fun when you're bothering her, it's following her and making her afraid ... It's all these things too.

Also physical touch is an always a bad thing but you need to be able to read the room, and know how to appropriately touch someone, giving them a high five or a hug if you know them better, touching their shoulder, you can do it in a way that’s not creepy, I don’t think that’s realistic for these people but like you can do it. I’m a girl to be clear, I just express myself through physical touch a lot of the time. When I first started on Facebook, I use to accept almost every friend request, yes, I learned not to do that. But I still accepted most if there were certain things, like mutual friends, etc. But after many years of having the same account, something unknown happened and I had to start a new Facebook account. Going from 5,000 friends to zero, I thought I'd be even more careful, but what to build up my FB friend list again. So if it looked like it was someone I knew, use to know, mutual friends, etc, I started accepting requests. It's surprising how many guys think that just because you accepted their request that somehow you must be "interested" in them. WTF? Seriously?!?! I'd accepted a request from a guy I thought was this gay guy I knew from the church I grew up in, and went to school with, although he was a few years older, and I hadn't seen him in probably over 45 years. There wasn't many pictures to verify that it was him. Next thing I knew this same name guy was hallering, but I could tell then he wasn't the gay guy, or he would have remembered my name, especially the family last name. He sends me a message asking why I accepted his request if I wasn't interested. Really? I didn't have time to explain at the moment, and then when I went to the message to tell him he had the same name as a gay guy I knew, etc, he'd disappeared. Wish I could have told him I thought he was a gay guy, just to burst his bubble a little though... And speaking otherwise, I couldn't begin to estimate how many guys have asked me to marry them, even before social media. It's nothing new or surprising how weird guys can be, and shocked at how you're not interested.

I need to show the story about the 30 year old that refused to get out to my parents. I moved out when I was 18. They made me come back when I was 20, because they found out I had been homeless for the past few months. They charged me $400/month rent and constantly made fun of me for still being in their house. Then, when I was 23, they gave me one month notice that they were selling the house, and that there wasn’t room for me at the new place. I’m 39 now, and have never relied on them for anything since then, and they still act like they’ve carried me my whole life 😂

They must have discussed it together as sometime afterwards I realised they'd remove items from my table top games room to keep. A little over 15 years later, I gave some of them another chance, but they showed how ignorant they were and only interested in taking advantage of my generosity again. That last guy actually sounded like he has ADHD or depression (or both). You know, underneath all the spoiled entitlement. His behavior is definitely stereotypical rich kid, but the depression is legit and shouldn't be dismissed. The general unhappiness with life that he described is something I relate to a lot as someone who suffers from ADHD, anxiety, depression, a whole host of fun stuff. It doesn't matter how good you have it, if your brain isn't producing enough serotonin you're going to feel like a flat tire 24/7. The frequent vacations just sound like his attempt to fix the serotonin levels, but of course it doesn't last and the continued grind of life can feel devastating in comparison. Again, not excusing his entitlement, the guy could use some community service hours jesus h. But mental illness is mental illness. You don't make it go away by telling the sufferer to get over themselves.
@diimidosemineral92612 жыл бұрын
Thank you for commenting that, I don’t know if we have enough information to go with ADHD but the depression and anxiety seem to be tearing his head apart. He seems to have some serious self loathing, never comfortable with who he is or where he’s at and that is not where you wanna be especially in a relationship. The girl can stay with him if she chooses to or leave for her own sake but he should get therapy. It would do him some good not to have someone laugh at him.
@DogMechanic2 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. He's definitely spoiled, but it's not like spoiled people can't have depression- and if he is depressed, then all these vacations he takes probably aren't giving him the relief they otherwise would be, which might also contribute to why he takes so many of them. He should definitely be encouraged to see a therapist.
@diimidosemineral92612 жыл бұрын
@@DogMechanic A lot of the time if you spoil your child without actually teaching them how to face life it can cause depression pretty easily. For some reason people think that you need to justify why you’re depressed until they take you seriously. That is absolutely horrible. You can always find somebody worse off, so I guess nobody has problems. Obviously she’s gone through her own stuff and still is, if she needs someone to support her perhaps they should take some space and have him go to therapy.
@DogMechanic2 жыл бұрын
@@diimidosemineral9261 I agree. I think people (just in general) forget that the brain is a physical part of your body, so it can become ill just like every other part of your body. Nobody would say "you didn't really break your arm, because other people have broken it way worse" or "you don't really have the flu, because other people have malaria"- we really need to apply the same sense to mental illness and stop thinking things like "you can't be depressed because you grew up in a wealthy family" and things like that. That's not how bodies work; bodies get sick, and we treat them for it so they can get back to living a normal, healthy life, brain included. We don't have to justify getting the flu *or* having depression, it's just a consequence of being a living thing. "Shit happens", as the old saying goes.

I agree with you on this on. Sounds like that man just needs help or therapy. Plus we only got one side of the story, though the girl dead or Ed her upbringing and that it differed from her SO, doesn’t mean he didn’t deal with other struggles. Though you may have money, and or a good upbringing doesn’t mean they don’t face battles as well. I personally don’t like that stigma that rich people should just be happy. We don’t know his side, or even how she treated him. Sounds like, if she really loved him and cared for him, they should talk about it personally and or seek professional help if needed.

This reminds me of Donald Glover “Crazy Man” stand-up. Male entitlement is seriously dangerous and these people receiving these messages need to report them. The girl who sold the text book should inform the university that they have this kind of behavior and entry level stalking. The worst part is that the smallest rejection sets them off and they insults are mainly completely misogynistic rather than just to the individual, as it generally would be with female entitlement.
@diimidosemineral92612 жыл бұрын
You would be reporting for too many men😂 On the Internet people don’t really perceive the actions they take is the same as I f they were to yell at someone in person. They just think they’re “venting” or whatever their justification is. Obviously if you have someone repeatedly harassing you then yeah you should report it! For your own safety if anyone tries to bother you after you reject them police! but if it’s a one time thing most people respond poorly to that kind of stuff whether they are guys, girls or whatever. If they don’t have a healthy amount of self-confidence and respect for other people it gets messy when they don’t have their way. Also I wouldn’t be so quick to criminalize someone for being a douche bag, sure you can report them but odds are they’re either a little insecure, don’t think the Internet is a big deal, don’t care much for women which you can’t punish them for (legally😉)unless they actually do something, or have some underlying mental illness they may be unaware of or in denial about. There’s lots of reasons people suck, buy a taser. I’m joking but keep yourself safe.

Pretty sure 3:02 is meant as an ethnic slur against Italians. That earns him a date with a garbage can in the street. And what the hell is the matter with any person who cuts a hard 180 the second someone declines their overtures? At least they're showing you their true colors immediately.

I dunno how the parents didn’t just make him miserable til he left. Take the hot handle off the shower so he only gets cold. Take the fuse out to his room. Make it extremely hot or cold when not home. Walk around naked. Wake him up obnoxiously every 20 mins he try’s to stay in bed past when u wake up. So many options.

remove all food from the house .Stop feeding unwanted creatures and they will seek another place to be .Even if ma and pa have to eat every meal away from home. This always works for ANY wanted guest, roommate ,stray animal.
