One thing I thought that was worth mentioning is a lot of the guns in this game actually have different manufactuarers denoted by their logo inscribed on the gun. For example the revolver, lever action rifle, and pump action shotgun are made by the same company iirc. Forgot all the manufacturers names though. They all follow their same quirks and gimmicks. Also just realized how jacked Valorant agents are. They hold the Odin up with only the angled grip in hand during the reload animation.

There is still a lot in Tarkov you could show Jonathan: How you can look in the magazine and determine exactly what round you're shooting. How the way you load the mag affects it -> For example, if you load 25 rounds of BT and 5 rounds of BS in a magazine, inspect the magazine before you've take shots and after you've taken 5 shots, you'll be able to see that the ammo is now different. There are new weapons added, some old ones are visually changed. There is a new see trough magazine. There are malfunctions he has not seen.

the reason you don't see vertical spread with the odin is because a) the player is actively dragging their mouse downward as they spray and b) because when you use the "scope" it tends to make bullet spray more evenly distributed in the area set for the spray instead of only letting the bullets hit higher. If you look at someone using the odin in third person, the bullets are shooting upward from the barrel. I hope this helps.

Just to comment on Jonathan's comment about the Machine Gun's barrel heating up that quickly, it might depend on WHAT was used for the weapon's base, case and point being the Stinger Machine Gun having an AN/M2 machine gun for an aircraft, it was designed to be air cooled which also results in the machine gun having a much higher rate of fire because of that, so when you take this machine gun and have it on the ground like , you have a machine gun that while being able to shoot very quickly, would need to be cooled down much for frequently as it's in an environment it's not designed for.

For the revolver reload, it might be possible to integrate a push-push spring loaded mechanism (like on some ballpoint pens) on the ejector rod. Since it is a futuristic design, things like integrated gas tubes and complex captive mechanisms could be built using additive manufacturing techniques.

The extractor/ejection rod on the "Sheriff" could work in theory if it was designed to spring out automatically once the cylinder arm reached it's full rotational travel limit; not unlike the star ejector on top-break platforms such as the Webley MK IV or Smith & Wesson No. 3 Schofield. Otherwise if it were to operate in the manner seen on-screen with a little "wrist flick", it could be designed to work via a momentum driven, spring-assisted ejection rod design using little detents and an internal activation pin that would automatically reset upon reaching a linear actuation limit. I keep imagining something similar to an automatic center punch combined with a mechanism akin to that of a double-action OTF knife, or something like a spring assisted gravity knife. Gimme a couple days to hammer out the details and I promise I'd come back with a workable concept lol. It's definitely feasible, even possible; albeit rather pointless in the grand scheme of things really. The need for such a device seems rather nonexistent for this firearm design considering that the existing technology for the purpose in question is already quite sufficient in accomplishing the intended task 😁😅.
