In my case, I actually hurt my right shoulder during a fall on my mountain bike. My front tire had gotten a puncture, and was a bit flat. I didn´t realize this, and when I took a sharp turn near the end of my ride, the front tire skidded and the bike completely flopped over, and I fell on my right side. My right arm and shoulder took most of the impact (and luckily I was wearing my helmet, as my head also hit the pavement). I had some emergency medical attention, and most of the issues (slight concussion, scraped elbows, etc.) have healed. But the shoulder is still bothering me (at the beginning, it was a challenge to even lift my right arm to wash my hair, face, and get dressed. But now that´s much better). I think it is an impingement, maybe tendinitis. I´ve tried a few exercises I´ve found on KZbin, but yours have been the most helpful. The injury happened in late July, 2023. It´s now late August. How long should it take to no longer feel shoulder pain? I´m trying to avoid going to the doctor, if possible. But if it continues, maybe I should seek medical attention. Thank you!!! 😁

I torned my rotatorcuff during work and after healing I have gotten calcification at the tendon that was torn. It is really hurtful and am looking for ways to releave the sharp pain I get at some of the movements in the shoulder.

My shoulder pain was gradual. In 2002, I was in a bad car accident, I was hit by a semi and rolled my car twice. I had physical therapy after I initially healed from my accident. Over the last 20 years, my neck and shoulder pain gradually increased. I began seeing a chiropractor again about a year ago. He told me I have degenerative disc disease in my neck and the other day told me he believes I have tendinitis in my left shoulder, pretty sure they’re related. Trying to find good exercises to help with the pain and avoid it getting worse. I enjoy this exercises and stretches, they feel good and help relieve the pain. Thank you!

Perfect timing on this video - I've been dealing with rotator cuff tendinitis for about a week and a half now. Basically I overdid it with way too many overhead shoulder presses, combined with apparently some weak tiny shoulder muscles I'd never heard of before. I've been doing some stretching but definitely appreciate the strengthening exercises, as I never want to go through this again. Thank you!!

I dislocated my shoulder a few years back, and although they say there was no permanent damage to my rotator cuff, my shoulder and neck have been really stiff, sore, and both shoulders often click when I do any basic movements. I often sleep with my arms above my head and I have to routinely stretch with my hands together in a triangle above my head, and push towards the ceiling until my shoulders crack otherwise it's so uncomfortable and I cannot sleep. Any ideas?

Is there an alternative to the exercise on the knees ? Bilateral knee surgery does not allow me to get on my knees for any reason. Not all positions during exercises work for people that have had knee replacement. Thanks .
@toneandtighten
@toneandtighten Жыл бұрын
Completely understandable! You can get a similar stretch via traction if you grab an overhead bar or doorframe and bend your knees slightly. If you can't reach that high, you can walk your hand up the side of a doorframe as high as you can and then slightly bend your knees. Hope you feel better, Zulma!
