This Ramadan might be indoors due to lockdown, but what I’m doing is taking advantage of this lockdown and using the time to get closer to allah. This is how sahaba celebrated Ramadan, they didn’t have parties like today, but they used the whole time for prayer and getting closer to allah. let’s use this time to rediscover the true Ramadan. Ramadan Kareem to all🙏🙏

I remember fasting my first ramadan when it was in August, I'm used to it in hot weather, this is the last hot Ramadan I think. Ramadan in winter would break that vibe for me, not only fasting in cold weather is easy, I also would be busy so I wouldn't notice Ramadan like I used to in summer.

To be honest I don't really know about this but In Ramadan we fast all the day time for some healthy reasons But what I'm sure about is "We fast during Ramadan throughout the day in order to feel the suffering of the poor and needy" So that we know "why should we be generous and kind with them" Have respect From Egypt

@@karinagarcia3702 muslims do a lot for the poor all year round. we fast because it's commanded by Allah in the Qur'an, it's supposed to also help you reflect and be grateful for all that you have. Oh, you who believe! Fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you may learn piety and righteousness” [Quran,2:183] “The month of Ramadhan [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the new moon of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allah intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allah for that [to] which He has guided you, and perhaps you will be grateful.” (Quran: 21:85) there's also studies in medical journals that say intermittent fasting is good your your health, my doctor who is a catholic heavily supports intermittent fasting as well. this commenter is from Egypt, which is a very poor third world country. Things in Egypt are not good and a lot of people who are blessed to have jobs can barely afford to feed their own families(prices are greatly inflated), I know this because we have a lot of family and friends in Egypt. most of the Egyptians I've met Muslim and nonmuslim alike are very friendly, kind and go above and beyond to help their fellow human beings even if it means they go without. Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “He is not a believer whose stomach is filled while the neighbor to his side goes hungry.” you should look into and study Islam. it's not just a religion, it's a complete way of life. if you truly look at it and ignore all of the hate and fear mongering by islamophobes, it's a beautiful way of life. I was a devout Christian for my whole life and became Muslim five years ago after studying islam while looking into seminary school. it's important to remember: there is good and bad people in all walks of life. do not let the bad be models for the religion. look at islam with an open mind and an open heart. peace and blessings be upon you and everyone else :) I hope you and everyone else is staying safe during this pandemic.

it's supposed to make you not eat until like--night. You eat and share your food and it makes the friendship stronger. So with that way Muslims understand how hard it is without food and drink. The ones without the possibility are not forced to do the praying of not eating. Also, they share the meat with the poor. Think, poor people who could not afford or never ate meat, eating it for the first time. A blessed praying. 😀 I love your videos. I wrote this so that people could get the video a little better. 1) If someone deliberately misses the Fast (except who are exempted) they must Fast for 60 days for each fast they missed If they are unable to do that they must provide meal to 60 poor for each fast they missed Zakat can be paid anytime of the year conditioning savings are an year old and annual income higher than nisaab (minimum money necessary for survival) But most people preferred to pay during Ramadan 2) This because every good deed is multiplied by 60 in this months 3) There is Shab e Qadr on 27th Ramadan when entire Quran was revealed 4) during last 10 days of Ramadan many male Muslims go for etakaaf (live in Masjid) as per Sunnat (tradition) of Prophet Muhammad (P. B. U. H) 5) Ramadan is divided into three parts each consists of one Ashra (10 days) 6) First 10 days / First Ashra is of Mercy 7) 2nd 10 days / 2nd Ashra is of Forgiveness 8) last 9 to 10 days / First Ashra is of Nijat (protection from the Hell) 9) Fasting basically for the Allah but it helps in realizing suffering of poor due to the Hunger on daily basis 10) it is believed that during this month the Master/ King/ Biggest Satan Iblees is chained for the whole month of Ramadan 11) Prayers at the moment of breaking Fast are never forsaken There should be 2nd part as many of the essential facts are missing
