I like this. we could then explain his copy power with platonic theology as the providential will of The Good reaching out into the world, cleaving corrupted matter to it in order to use it as an instrument for manifesting The Good here on Earth. In fact, Kirby is very much like Christ in this framework, an incarnation of The Good (perhaps a more concentrated version than Jesus), meant to drive historical process towards the achievement of a heavenly state of being called the kingdom of God. If Kirby does indeed inhabit our own universe in the distant future, then it only makes sense that as we reach the end of history (the final judgement), the incarnation of The Good becomes more concentrated, and perhaps more combative if others have fallen too far from The Good to be saved.

The point of a theory is to overthink something to try and explain it. So congratulations, you just defined what a theory is.

Lets "over think" this even further. If Nintendo didn't intend for kirby to be an amoeba, could this support correspondence theory? Or can human ideas go through a sort of "convergent evolution" to align with that of actual living organisms? I know ideas go through trials, but not necessarily the same way living organisms do. Trial and error or survival doesn't apply the same to ideas, except for memetics. If I think of a flying turtle, there is nothing crippling that flying turtle to exist in my mind other than me discontinuing thinking about such. But what environment, in my mind, would allow the flying turtle to go through a "trial"? There isn't anything preventing the turtle in my mind from flying. So why do I say this? Well...how could all of these features correlate between the mind and the physical world if the mind isn't restricted by a physical environment? How can Kirby's features resemble that of a amoeba if Kirby is imaginary and the amoeba is real? Did the creator study amoeba in the past and subconsciously injected his past knowledge of one in his character? Or is it some weird universal truth that "survival" means harboring these common features. I always think of Absorbent man from Marvel, Tetsuo from Akira, Amazo from the DC universe, and that Robotic cat from Jimmy Neutron. Hell any being that copies.
