A lot of people wear it too low. It's supposed to be around your abdominals so you can brace your abs against the belt, but a lot of people wear it almost around their hips which essentially does nothing.

At first I was like, what it was a fine fist bump.. kinda went for a handshake first but bailed and went for the knuckles... then watched it again and omg that was atrocious!!! What was he thinking

+bbigrocker1 his heaviest deadlift in a meet was 909.4 lbs done 8months ago setting a new American record. He's also done 907x4 with straps.
@bbigrocker19 жыл бұрын
Coreygainz Too cool. I was at a meet last Saturday, and many of the lifters missed lifts due to their hands simply not being strong enough to hold the bar. Straps can cut both ways.

wow its always good to get actual insight into how these guys mentally prep for a lift. Just by the way he talks you can tell he is a very humble man, im impressed. Its a lot more refreshing than those juiced up body builders just saying "just do it" ...real prolific....

When you do 800lbs 8x no one is triggered you’re yelling in the gym. Respect.

I remember watching this not long after it came out because I used to watch weightlifting instead of do it, and now with the most recent 2 years of weightlifting on and off and only achieving a 1200LB powerlifting total, I now realize how badass his 800x8 deadlift truly is.

I'm not fat or very big but after some heavy deadlifts or pretty much any heavy lifts, my ability to move my arms becomes limited. I always look like I'm being attacked by a ghost when I try to put my rucksack on after my gym sessions. 😂
